I've been going here for about 4-5 years. It's super pricey, but you get what you pay for ... which is excellence. I've had 3 stylists here, and they've all been amazing. The location is in the heart of Newbury Street, so it's easy to get to. It's also so cute inside and very clean. I always feel very pampered when I'm here. I love that they have Nespresso to serve while you're waiting. Also, the front desk staff are absolutely fabulous!!! They are so welcoming and friendly. They truly make this place a great experience.

I cannot rave about this salon more. I don't think there's a more talented group of people in Boston. And if you are worried about the pandemic (who isn't?) I can tell you the owner has gone above and beyond safety measures for the salon- temperature check, screening questions, an air sanitizer! There were only 3 stylists in today, giving plenty of room for social distancing. The entire salon is wonderful, but Alexandra is extraordinary. She is a true artist. She understands color, lighting, dimension, and makes you leave feeling like a million dollars. Just stop reading this and make an appointment.

A couple reviews in one, but the short of it: Kayla is phenomenal and Stilisti was the most lovely place to get my bridal hair and makeup done (special props to Allison A. for my makeup).

Kayla has been outstanding, not only in making my hair incredible for years now, but also in being so kind and thoughtful to me AND my family. I moved to the south six years ago, and I literally fly back to Boston to get my hair cut. I have not found anyone else who can match her expertise. She knows all hair types, and she is fantastic with mine (Indian, curly, fine, frizzy). I can guarantee you won't regret booking with Kayla!

Kayla, Allison A., and Nathaniel made my day *so* special. I highly recommend getting your bridal hair/make-up done with these incredible artists. They were so welcoming to my family, including making my niece feel so special. They thought of every little thing with incredible attention to detail, (e.g. making sure I had blotting sheets, styling the orchids in my hair perfectly, etc.). My hair and make-up survived PERFECTLY after me walking several miles around Boston in 90 degree weather for four hours.

Such good quality for everything I've ever needed with my hair! Easy booking, amazing staff, especially Morgan, she always recommends the perfect products for my hair and exceeds my expectations with style and color. Such a welcoming environment that I always look forward to coming to.

I saw Ali here after she came highly recommended from a friend. I had an unfortunate experience at another salon in back bay, and was really embarrassed and upset with how it turned out. Ali agreed to come in early to help me out (I have an event this weekend and simply couldn't show up in the state I was in), and she absolutely nailed it. Not only was she able to soften the short, choppy cut I had, but she was kind and compassionate. She took the time to understand what I wanted, the texture of my hair, and how I like to style it. She thoroughly explained everything she was doing, and came up with a plan of how we could grow out the damage that was previously done. She is worth every single cent, and the passion for what she does really comes through in her work. Can't recommend enough.

Obsessed with Ali here. She's the only woman I trust with my hair!!! And believe me, I don't trust anyone with my hair.

The salon is clean, super friendly, has yummy coffee and m&ms, and is an overall retreat from your day. They make it super easy to book online or on the phone, they send you reminders when your appointment is coming up, and you get a referral bonus if you refer friends!

Updating my review: came here for an apt in September 2016 with Stephanie and she was amazing. So so so so happy with my hair cut- she is literally saving my hair after Aveda ruined it in Harvard Sq. also, I bought a product from them (hair milk) and 1 mo. later the pump broke. I went back this weekend to have it fixed AND they gave me a brand new one. They keep all purchases on file so if you have an issue with a product it does make things so much easier. Also, I bought the Hair Vitamins and I started to get some chin pimples and called and asked if I could return them if the side effects didnt go away and they said no problem, i could return the product if i was not happy.

Overall, a GREAT place to get a hair cut, products, and it's so conveniently located right on Newbury St. Will never go anywhere else.

I've been going to this salon for about a decade, back when it was called Jean Pierre Salon. This review is admittedly long overdue. I won't trust anyone else to touch my hair because they truly are the best at what they do.

From bobs to bangs and everything in between, Stilisti always gives me a stellar cut. I was really sad when my previous stylist there moved away maybe four or five years ago, but I ended up seeing Ali instead. As soon as I met her, I knew I was in great hands. Ali talked me through my hair products and (very low-maintenance) routine. She recommended some new shampoo and conditioner for me, which made my fine hair as volumous and healthy as it's ever been.

Ali always goes above and beyond and is proud to be a perfectionist at her job. The detail she gives to each cut, whether it's just a trim or a new style, really shows. She's also incredibly sweet and friendly and just a joy to be around. The whole team makes it a welcoming, fun, and relaxing experience. Shout out to Jay for always greeting me by name and with a big smile!

I should note that the prices here are reasonable, especially for the quality and the fact that they're on Newbury Street. Prices also vary based on stylist (you can choose to see a junior stylist, the owner of the business, or anyone in between).

I absolutely love coming into Stilisti every time, and I know I'm in the best care possible. I really can't imagine going anywhere else to get my hair cut!

Jaime is seriously beyond amazing. I started going to her about 4 years ago after an ombré disaster at a different salon, and it has been all magic ever since. She can create any look you bring her, and is honest about what will and won't work for your hair. She has slayed every single cut, color, and style I have ever asked for. Jaime is also just about as nice, hilarious, and real as it gets- she is the best!!

Alexandra is the best hair stylist I've ever had, hands down. She is a master of her craft, so gifted both in understanding hair and also connecting with clients. She is a breath of fresh air, sunshine on a stormy day, and she will make you laugh like you've always needed to. I had her for a stylist for years at Stilisti and then booked her for my wedding. It was so special to have her there with me that morning. A familiar face with trusted hands. She is also incredibly dedicated to educating herself and others, which keeps her on top of her game. Highly recommend miss Alexandra to make your beauty come front and center.
