Found this place and when I saw the line out the door I knew is find deliciousness! Every sandwich was more appealing than the next. I rolled in a stranger and left meeting many folks so happy living in Missoula.

Solid, excellent sandwich.
We ordered online, which was easy, and the food was ready when we showed up and stored in a fridge so it didn't get warm. A few other people we were eating with did not order online but it didn't take them too long to get their sandwiches, despite the long line.
All sandwiches - and there are many - are named after bands. I had the Doobie Brother, which was turkey, fresh walnut pesto, smoked mozzarella and piquillo peppers. Everything was very well proportioned with no flavor dominating any other flavor - each bite was satisfying. The bread was also amazing.
No seating inside the place so make sure you have somewhere to go... not hard to do in Missoula.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Patrick S.Missoula, MT317May 11, 2024
You are out of bread and primarily a sandwich shop??? An opportunity to get creative and send someone to go get some. I have to laugh because it's absurd. And so much SASS!

Hey Patrick. Thanks for your input. We get our bread made fresh daily from a local bakery that is currently making the maximum amount of our bread that they can, so unfortunately on these busy days when we are out we are out. In the future if you know you will be having sandwiches that day you can put an order in online for a pickup at any time and we will set your bread aside for that order. Sorry for the disappointment.

I cannot rave about this place enough. The food here is Sublime. I got the Beach Boy and I'll never try another sandwich. It has ruined me for all other sandwiches. It is so good and comes with turkey, bacon, swiss, spicy garlic aioli, avocado spread, red onion, tomatoes, greens. They even add their attention to detail when they're wrapping the sandwich. They actually wrapped the napkins in the paper. So smart, it keeps everything together. Such a cute place and I make sure to always go back when I'm in Missoula.

We stopped here on a road trip on our way through Missoula. The sandwiches were excellent, perfect deli sandwiches, service was friendly and quick. The menu is extremely interesting, think I could have ordered any of them and been very happy.
The ONLY reason I gave it less than five stars is there is really no place to eat or any restroom facilities for customers. When you are traveling, both of those are important so we had to make an extra stop and find restrooms and eat in the car as we traveled.
If those two things are not important to you, please get your sandwich here, so excellent!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elaine P.Missoula, MT03May 13, 2024
I would say it's the best sandwich ever but then there are more than one 'best' sandwiches on their menu...
Excellent vibe, spot on service every time and Holy Hanna... incredibly delicious food!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 9, 2023
Tagliare Delicatessen is a small deli in the heart of Missoula, Montana. The deli is known for its creative and delicious sandwiches named after rock bands. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is fun and funky.
The sandwiches at Tagliare Delicatessen are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The bread is baked fresh daily by Le Petit Outre, and the meats and cheeses are imported. The sandwiches are all made to order so that you can customize your sandwich to your liking.
Some of the sandwiches we tried at Tagliare Delicatessen include the Zeppelin (turkey, dry salami, pastrami, provolone, greens, balsamic marinated onions and oil & vinegar), the Megadeath (ham, finocchiona, hot sopressata, pepperoni, hot cappicola, smoked mozzarella, pepperoncinis, tomatoes and "feisty slaw"), the Kiss (prosciutto, provolone, fig & walnut chutney, arugula and olive oil), and the Cure (turkey, sharp white cheddar cheese, greens, tomatoes, and mustard vinaigrette). All of which were amazing.
In addition to sandwiches, Tagliare Delicatessen also offers a variety of other items, such as salads, soups, and charcuterie boards. They also have a small selection of imported wines and beers.
The deli is small and can get crowded, so it's best to avoid going during peak hours. The deli also has no bathroom, so be sure to go before you go.
Overall, Tagliare Delicatessen is a great place to go for a delicious and satisfying sandwich. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is fun and funky, and the sandwiches are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - 503113141Sep 2, 2023
10/10 but you probably already knew that!! Don't get a sandwich with the spicy garlic spread unless you aren't kissing anyone for several hours after (or get it anyway....it's so worth it). Super fresh and great quality ingredients!

Let's be clear this is not Subway. But still in my head I thought a six inch sandwich from Tagliare would be like a Subway. Was I wrong! More like a 4x6 ciabatta roll with plenty of "insides."
Went with the Mega and the Sublime - both were fantastic and I'd order them again - except I'd want to try some menu items.
Friendly service. Helpful.
Ambiance? Well, it's more or an order-to-go place. By the way, they do make meat and cheese plates. Not on menu - more of a custom job.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0
