Trattoria Trecolori

The service here is great, friendly waitstaff and great location. The food is okay. I'll admit I am a bit of an Italian food snob, but the reviews had me optimistic for a good experience. Unfortunately I was disappointed, the appetizer was good, but the meals were a little heavy and under seasoned.

Nice pre-show dinner; busy @ 5:00pm, so make sure you reserve in advance. Complimentary bread & selection of olives were a great start, once we got our elderly waiter to quit ignoring us! Menu was extensive; food delicious and artfully presented. On a tight schedule to get to The Lion King, and waiter again totally ignored us to get our check, again. Service is the only reason we did not award 5-stars. In fairness, all the other wait-staff were friendly and hustling, so we just got the senior-snob this draw. I would go back, for sure!

A special night out with my honey. Nice atmosphere, great service and amazing food. Must have reservations which we did. Waiter recommended some specials. We took his advice. The crab cakes were delicious. Veal Osso Bucco with risotto was the best. If that's not for you the regular menu has chicken scarpiello. Wow. One of my favorite places.

Excellent meal from beginning to end. Exceptional food and great service! We started with Ceasar salad, bread and olives. Our group of five ordered four entree's and all of them were excellent! No room for dessert - but we will save room next time. Big fans of Trattoria Trecolori!

I wasn't that impressed for the price that I paid. I spent 4 star money for diner service.

I booked a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday and Valentines Day. We walked in and we were able to get seated right away (great).

My waiter wasn't good at all. He asked us 3 times within 5 minutes did we want to order. I felt rushed and as if he didn't want to serve us. Cleary, I was correct. I was looking around after 20-30 minutes of not seeing him again. Another waiter took over and said that our original waiter left. Who does that without saying anything? The waiter who took over was nice. There was another gentleman who switched out my dirty silverware and refilled my water. The restaurant wasn't that busy. However, I had to ask for a water refill twice.

I told our new waiter that it was my boyfriend's birthday. I purchased a dessert and the staff put a candle in the gelato and sung happy birthday. That was cute and the food was good. I just feel that if I made a reservation and informed the restaurant on the occasion, that we would've gotten better service.

Great reastaurant with good food, drinks, staff and deserts. LIked it alot. I would definitely stop by here again if the opportunity presented itself, as its now on my list of good Italian restaurants.

Great service! Great food! We stopped by on our first night in NY. We were tired, but left the place highly satisfied of the food, ambiance, and service!

It was a decent place to eat. The three stars are because the service was amazing. MJ was an awesome server. Funny guy with a good attitude about doing his job. He helped a lot on what to order for vegetarians. The dishes were okay. In my opinion, it was a bit too salty. But my tastebuds could also be on a level I don't know about. The one thing everyone at the table loved was the eggplant appetizer. That was by far the best dish I've had all night! Definitely recommended. And MJ was the best server!! Thank you for the awesome service

Service was incredibly fast and attentive. We mad a reservation but got there early and they took us right away. We are here in between a matinee and evening show and it was perfect. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and they allowed me to switch out spaghetti marinara for a side of their homemade fettuccine Alfredo. It was wonderful. Our whole party really enjoyed themselves.

Went after the theatre and we were promptly seated. Fabulous bread and dish of yummy olives served immediately. Had the salad special of arugula and eggplant which was very good. Also had the squid ink linguine, also very good. Reasonably priced wine that was tasty.
Will definitely return.
