"When you're seeking more than the typical hazelnut/pistachio/vanilla/chocolate flavors of gelato or when you're seeking a higher quality alternative to the places with highly-piled containers that lured you in off the street because who could resist, hit up Fatamorgana. They have incredibly creative favors and more non dairy options than soy and/or sorbet (I'm not knocking either of those vegan options). I mean, fig cream? Yes, please! I ordered a couple tiny scoops that packed a lot of punch, exquisite, really. It was just what I needed for an afternoon pick-me-up."
