Zuleyka Rivera the New Face of Crystal

Once former Miss Universe Zuleyka Rivera gave up her crown six months ago, the Puerto Rican beauty queen was available to do new projects. Of them is a new campaign with Swarovski crystal, a company that chose Rivera, 20, to pose in their jewels and become their new spokesperson.

“I'm incredibly proud to work with a company I identify with,” she told El Nuevo Día. “I've been wearing Swarovski stones on my dresses since I started modeling, and I won Miss Universe in a dress made with more than a thousand crystals.”

Rivera's first assignment as the “Swarovski Ambassador” in Cancun, Mexico today will be to attend the lighting of a Christmas tree decorated with more than 5,000 of the company's gems. While in Mexico, she will also take part in a Swarovski photo shoot and deliver gifts to underprivileged children in the country.
