WHEEL THROWING CLASSES WITH PAIGE
PAIGE: Wednesdays
March 20-April 10 (6-9 pm)
COST: $200 (includes open studio access)
If you ever wanted to learn how to throw, then it’s time to enroll in throwing on the potter’s wheel (or continue to hone your skills) with Paige at Parched Earth Pottery Studios, nearby sister studio to Ceramica Arthouse. Classes will cover level-appropriate techniques, finishing work, glazing and firing.
Experience is not a prerequisite.

Jerry will be firing raku pottery in the Vista Village parking lot in front o f Ceramica Arthouse from 6-9 on the last Friday of every month beginning in September.
Purchase any of our bisque ware pieces or from any of our hand made pieces for raku painting and firing. We will fire it that night so you can take your piece home fired and finished.
COST: $10 + tax + the price of the piece you select for firing

Empty Bowls
The Empty Bowls Event is a special event that happens each November through the Idaho Food Bank. Paint a bowl from Ceramica Arthouse and donate it to the food bank. Empty Bowls is a great way to give back to your community.
About Us
Dorota and Jerry Hendershot have lived on the Boise Bench in the Vista neighborhood for 20 years. For the last 15 of those years, they have together run Parched Earth Pottery studios, a sister studio to Ceramica Arthouse for independent ceramic artists.
With Dorota’s business background from her 22 years at the Boise Co Op, and Jerry’s 22+ years of Ceramic teaching, they are excited to bring their skills and creativity to Ceramica Arthouse for years to come.
Jerry has taught ceramics at Timberline High School for the last 16 years, taught workshops at the Tuscarora Pottery School since 2000, and has been an instructor at Fort Boise Community Center.
Their hope is to connect small businesses in Boise into collaboration with one another, provide a creative outlet for the surrounding community, and to continue creating a place for Boiseans to feel at home.
