Ever since she stepped out braless in that totally transparent hot pink tulle Valentino gown, Florence Pugh has become synonymous with the #FreeTheNipple movement. Having repped further sheer Valentino numbers, an XL lilac design and a Tinkerbell-esque green style, it's safe to say Flo has been leading the charge of the latest wave of the naked dressing trend.

And her latest red carpet look is no exception. Attending the ELLE Style Awards in London last night, Florence was awarded The British Icon Award. A worthy winner not just for her head-turning style but also her responses to the backlash her nipple-revealing looks have faced, IMO. After all, it doesn't get more iconic than shutting down the haters and continuing to wear exactly what you want.

Case in point: another see-through dress, this time an Alexander McQueen white lace halterneck gown.

From the elegant mermaid silhouette to the lace-trimmed train, the gown was packed with plenty of drama. The transparent fabric was embellished entirely with delicate floral lace appliqués, while the high neckline was contrasted with a low, open back.

Here's a closer look at the back of the dress:

She kept her jewellery to a minimum, adding a few small earrings and rings from Tiffany & Co. But in typical Florence form, she added a punk edge to the bridal look with her short blonde hair styled upright in gelled '00s spikes.

Truly stunning, we have no notes. All hail the naked dressing queen.
