4Corgi

"Corgis are friendly, outgoing and intelligent dogs suitable for owners with different lifestyles," say the Kennel Club. "They need a moderate amount of exercise but will not mind more active owners. Their small size means that Corgis will be happy in town or countryside as long as they have a small garden to enjoy."
5Yorkshire Terrier

7Shih Tzu

Typically a Shih Tzu will grow to be about eight to 11 inches with a weight of nine to 16 pounds. Plus, as with most toy breeds, Shih Tzu's are quick to mature - reaching adult size by about 10 months.

9Cairn Terrier
