JBL is spicing up their Quantum line with their first true-wireless gaming headphones. The award-winning Quantum TWS are 100% wire-free earbuds with a super-convenient charging case that makes it easy to take high-quality gaming sound on the go.
These gaming buds are lightweight and durable for long playing or listening sessions, with a sweat-resistant design and an eight-hour battery life. The charging case banks up to 16 more hours, so when you're done listening just pop the buds in the case and they'll automatically recharge.

Features
Overview: The JBL Quantum TWS is a true wireless in-ear headphone for taking your gaming anywhere. The earbuds feature a low latency 2.4 GHz connection through its included USB-C dongle, and are compatible with Bluetooth-enabled devices such as smartphones and tablets. In addition to gaming, the true wireless headphones are ideal for music playback and phone calls. Quantum TWS comes with a flip-top charging case, and three pairs of silicone ear tips.
Drivers: The JBL Quantum TWS ear buds are equipped with 10mm dynamic drivers that deliver an immersive sound with a wide frequency range of 20Hz-20kHz.
2.4 GHz Dongle: The included wireless dongle plugs into the USB-C port on a PC, Mac, laptop, PS5 console, or Nintendo Switch controller for a low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless connection to the earbuds. With a USB-C to USB-A adapter (not included), you can also connect the dongle to a USB-A port on your PC, Mac, desktop, PS4/PS5 console, or Nintendo Switch console. When not in use, the dongle stores securely in the charging case.
Bluetooth: The ear buds connect to your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth version 5.2. The ear buds support A2DP (v1.3), AVRCP (v1.6), and HFP (v1.8). When you remove the ear buds from the charging case, they automatically enter pairing mode. Google's Fast Pair immediately pairs the Quantum TWS to your Android device (6.0+ phones only). Replacing them in the charging case powers them off.
Dual Source: JBL's Dual Source technology lets you seamlessly switch from your 2.4 GHz wireless connection to take a phone call on your smartphone, then switch back again when your call is completed.
JBL QuantumSURROUND: When you're connected to a Windows PC, you can enable JBL's QuantumSURROUND puts you inside the game with immersive audio that seems to come from all directions. QuantumSURROUND requires JBL QuantumENGINE software (compatible with Windows 10 64-bit only and Windows 11).
True Adaptive Noise Cancelling: The True Adaptive Noise Cancelling (ANC) feature lets you shut out noise from the outside world so you can concentrate on your game, listen to music, or hear your phone call. ANC uses four built-in microphones to pick up external noise and cancel it with an equal-but-opposite audio signal. The earbuds automatically adjust to the level of noise around you to eliminate distractions.
Ambient Aware: For those occasions when you want to stay in touch with your surroundings, Ambient Aware uses the same ANC microphones to pick up ambient noise and pass it through to the headphones. You'll be able to hear public announcements, or just hear what's going on around you, without removing your ear buds.
Voice Assistants: Quantum TWS is compatible with the Voice Assistant that is built into your smartphone -- Siri (Apple), Google (Android), Bixby (Samsung). In the JBL Headphones App, you can also select Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant as your voice assistant. To activate the Voice Assistant in the Quantum TWS, you can touch and hold of one of the ear buds, as assigned in the app.
Microphones: Quantum TWS true-wireless features six microphones, three per ear bud. Beamforming microphones are located at the end of the each ear bud's "post" for excellent voice clarity for barking out game commands and for phone calls. Additional microphones are located near the ear bud nozzle and on the outer portion of the ear bud to pick up sounds in the ear canal and environmental sounds all around you for the ANC and Smart Ambient features.
Controls: The ear buds feature touch controls on the circular area with the JBL logo. When connected to wireless 2.4 GHz, the controls on either the left or right ear bud, and include ANC, Ambient Aware, TalkThru, Answer/End phone calls, and Mute/Unmute the microphone. Controls available in a Bluetooth connection are split between the left and right ear buds, and add the ability to activate your Voice Assistant (Bixby, Siri, Google Assistant, and Alexa), as well as music playback controls.
Wear Sensors: The ear buds have an infrared sensor that can detect when you remove the ear bud or place it in your ear. During music playback, removing an ear bud will automatically pause your music. Replacing the ear bud into your ear will cause your music to resume playing. This feature can be enabled or disabled in the JBL Headphones app.
Rechargeable Batteries: Each of the JBL Quantum TWS ear buds contains a 3.85-volt 51mAh Lithium-Ion polymer rechargeable battery. The charging case contains its own 3.7-volt 340mAh Lithium-Ion polymer rechargeable battery. The ear buds charge in the case in approximately two hours in the provided case. The case charges using the supplied USB-C cable. A 15-minute Speed Charge will give you up to three hours of playtime. The battery life of fully-charged ear buds is as follows:

JBL Headphones App: The JBL Headphones App, available for iPhone / iPad (with iOS 11.0 or later) and Android (7.0 and up), lets you customize your listening and gaming experience. Through the app, you can set up your Voice Assistant with Amazon Alexa or Hey Google. You can activate and adjust the True Adaptive Noise Cancellation, Smart Ambient, and TalkThru features. The app's Custom EQ provides preset EQ curves or you can adjust the 10-band EQ to personalize your sound the way you like it. The app also checks the fit of your ear tips and helps you find the optimal wear position.

The JBL Quantum TWS earbuds are a superior product for their price. The quality is very good and the performance rivals other brands that cost more. Purchased a set for my wife initially, then a set for our two oldest daughters after seeing for ourselves the quality of the JBL product.
