FORMER Saints striker Iain Dowie has found a new job – but it’s not in football.
The man who scored 32 top flight goals for the club between 1991-95 is now a regional sales manager for Go To Surveys.
According to its website, Go To Surveys 'undertake homebuyers reports, building surveys and valuations throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland.'
Dowie’s personal description on the site states: "Having experienced the excitement of playing international football and managing at a high level Iain is equally excited to be joining the innovative and dynamic GOTO group.'
Dowie’s best season at The Dell came in 1992/93 when he was second top scorer with 11 goals.
After finishing his playing career, he managed Oldham Athletic, Crystal Palace – guiding them to promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs in 2004 - Charlton Athletic, Coventry and QPR.
Dowie has been out of professional football since 2010 when he spent three months as 'Football Management Consultant' at Hull City, but was unable to prevent their relegation to the Championship.
