Silicon Valley star Amanda Crew got an unwanted surprise via her cell phone on Tuesday.
The Canadian actress, 30, was sent a picture of a man's penis along with the text message: 'Hey sexy girl. Can't wait to see you again.'
It turns out the sender thought he was sexting someone called Sarah but got the wrong number.
Amanda, though, decided to share the story with her Twitter followers - but only after deleting the image of the actual appendage.

'My morning in pictures,' she tweeted, followed by images of a camera, an eggplant and a pair of shaking hands.
She added a collage of three images.
The first read: 'This morning, a stranger accidentally texted me a picture of his (eggplant emoji).'
'But we're cool now. (eggplant emoji).'
How embarrassing: She also posted a screen shot of the text conversation showing the response from the mortified guy when he learned he wasn't texting 'Sarah'
She then posted a screen shot of the text conversation in which she's seen replying to his sext message.
Having failed to respond immediately, the stranger texted again: 'Guess you're not as excited about seeing me again :(.'
When she replies to tell him he has the wrong number, he says: 'Omg! I'm so embarrassed.'
After she reassures him she's okay and has deleted his graphic photo, he adds: 'Thanks for being cool about it. '
'Strange knowing a random person just saw my penis.'
