Jack and Tori might just be the most controversial couple that we've seen get together on Married at First Sight Australia – and for the most part that's down to Jack's highly questionable behaviour on the show.
So far, as we've watched at UK pace, we have seen him called out by viewers, Women's Aid and the experts on the commitment ceremony couch, with Jack's shocking "muzzle your woman" comment disgusting us all collectively.
But despite this, are MAFS Australia season 11 couple Tori and Jack still together now?
Undeterred by mounting pressure from her fellow brides and the panel of relationship experts, who have voiced concerns, Tori has so far stuck by her MAFS husband Jack.
In one commitment ceremony (which aired in the UK on March 25) the relationship gurus John Aiken, Mel Schilling and Alessandra Rampolla were united in calling out the "unacceptable" behaviour that they had witnessed at the prior dinner party, where the comment had been made.
They first criticised Jono, who failed to support his wife Lauren (the recipient of the "muzzle" remark), and then attention swiftly turned to Jack.
The experts expressed their concern to Tori, arguing that Jack may have just shown her who he really was, how he responds when put under pressure, and his attitude towards women.
However, Tori was adamant that she didn't agree with that assessment and appeared to remain in Jack's corner. For his part, he apologised and expressed regret at his choice of words (although this was a different stance to the one he'd taken earlier in the apartment).
But Mel Schilling, who also appears on the UK version of the show, continued to interrogate the original accusation which had sparked the "muzzle" insult in the first place. Had Jack, as the rumour went, suggested that another groom might sleep with Tori during a wife-swap challenge? And had he said that he wasn't attracted to her?
Jack was adamant that the whole thing was a miscommunicated "joke", despite nobody else in the experiment finding it funny. Tori defended her and Jack's "dark humour", but when pressed by Mel she also did eventually admit that the words did make her "feel physically sick" when put to her in a different way.
Fast-forward to the next episode, where the original contestants were preparing for visits with friends and family, and Jack and Tori seemed more united than ever. They even got complementary tattoos together...
Jack would go on to upset the MAFS group once again during the Couples Retreat, when he made another ill-informed 'joke' around the pool.
The personal trainer was accused of saying "the whales are here today" in front of his co-stars Timothy, Tristan and Jono. Tristan, who had been open about his personal body image struggles throughout the experiment, was most affected by the words, with Tim and Jono calling it out later that evening.
Jack claimed the comment was "banter" and "taken out of context", but the group condemned his original remark and fellow groom Michael branded it "body shaming".
During a private conversation with his MAFS wife Tori, Jack tried to defend himself again. But, for perhaps the first time in the show, she called him out, telling him: "I can't support that."
This event was, naturally, a hot topic at the next dinner party. Jack came prepared, taking Tristan – along with Tim – for a private moment where he handed Tristan a supplement gift card and a keyring with the words "You are enough" engraved on it.
Tristan seemed touched by the gesture, but Timothy later told the cameras that he wasn't "buying it". The experts, who were watching on, didn't seem too impressed either.
As for Tori and Jack, the pressure continued to pile on as the group collectively questioned their relationship. But Tori was still adamant that they were strong and on the same page.
Are Tori and Jack from MAFS Australia still together now?
Spoilers follow from here on out. The 2024 Australian series of Married at First Sight is a bit ahead of us, so the following scenes haven't yet aired in the UK.
Season 11 of Married at First Sight Australia has been further along than the UK broadcast, with Final Vows and the reunion show playing out already.
At a dinner party that's yet to air on Channel 4, Jack and Tori have been met with controversy once again after Tori was heard ushering her show hubby to "just fake it" with a kiss.
Prompted by the dreaded Honesty Box, Jack was asked whether he thought he was falling in love with Tori. He said that he "could be", which didn't appear to be a satisfying enough answer for the rest of the group.
Tori then asked him to kiss her at the table, before the microphone seemed to pick up the "fake" comment.
We know that Tori and Jack made it to Final Vows and, despite a teaser which cast some doubt on their outcome, they left the experiment hand-in-hand as a couple.
Sharing a post about their decision, Tori described their time on the show as "not for the faint of heart" and "a battlefield".
"You showed me that the old-school love that I asked for, exists," Tori directed at her MAFS husband. "You treat me with nothing but the utmost love, respect and gratitude. Thank you for making me feel protected, secure and valued."
She added, "Jack, whilst we didn't choose each other in the beginning, I can wholeheartedly say I choose you today and every day thereafter." You can read her full Instagram post here.
Jack shared a similar sentiment on his own Instagram page, which read: "Dear wife, you are the most incredible partner I could ever ask for. Your intelligence, your courage, your unconditional loyalty. You have supported me in ways that a man could never explain. For this I thank you, my journey on #MAFS was unforgettable however it's only a chapter out of our 'story of life'. You complete me & I [vow] to always protect, respect & take care of you..."
Most recently, Tori has shared a reel on Instagram, captioned "Life lately", that heavily features Jack.
"Beyond excited to have you by my side for every step of the way, let the fun begin!!," she added.
