Postino WineCafé, the unique, all-day wine bar and cafe offering delectable food, beverage and warm hospitality, will open its flagship Southeastern location in the Buckhead neighborhood on Monday, September 12.

“We are thrilled to join the Atlanta and Buckhead community,” said Lauren Bailey, Postino co-founder. “Everything we do is motivated by our desire to make people feel good. It sounds simple, but it’s our guiding light that informs every decision we make. We hope it results in something pretty magical for the neighborhood.”

The distinctive, all-day wine bar and café lures guests with a bevy of charcuterie boards, bruschetta, shareable “Snacky Things,” salads, paninis and desserts, a selection of wines by the glass and bottle, and warm hospitality. The proprietary wine program is curated by advanced sommelier and beverage director Brent Karlicek featuring a lineup of boutique wines ranging from approachable to esoteric – all exclusive to Postino.

Postino offers a carefully curated selection of wines by the glass and bottle, within an environment that makes it perfectly acceptable for guests to gather and enjoy a glass at just about any time, underscoring its mantra that “Drinking Wine at Lunch Is Not a Crime.” Guests can look forward to a daily happy hour menu available from open until 5 p.m. including a dedicated wine list featuring $6 glasses of wine and pitchers of beer. On Mondays and Tuesdays after 8 p.m. the restaurant presents its “Bottle & Board” for $25, featuring a bottle of wine thoughtfully paired with bruschetta. Postino also serves a weekend brunch, served Saturdays and Sundays starting at 9 a.m.

Postino is located at the intersection of Piedmont and Roswell in the former Blockbuster Video space and boasts a funky VHS tape wall as an ode to its former surroundings. A large, colorful mural from local artist and muralist WOLFDOG adorns a pair of the restaurant’s exterior walls, matching the vibrant energy of the community it serves.

About Postino WineCafé

Postino WineCafé was born in a historic 1940s-era Arizona post office in 2001 and has since been dedicated to giving customers a hyper-localized dining experience within the community. Postino co-founders Lauren Bailey and Craig DeMarco built the Postino brand on a foundation of revitalizing buildings and creating spaces that are integral to the neighborhoods that surround each location. The menu offers wine from a bevy of varietals; a wide selection of beer on tap and in bottles & cans; an eclectic selection of snacks, soups, salads, and paninis; a dozen different types of bruschetta; a selection of desserts; and a host of non-alcoholic beverage options.
