Signorina Misteriosa by Salvatore Ferragamo is a Amber Floral fragrance for women. Signorina Misteriosa was launched in 2016. Signorina Misteriosa was created by Sophie Labbe, Nicolas Beaulieu and Juliette Karagueuzoglou. Top notes are Blackberry and Neroli; middle notes are Tuberose and Orange Blossom; base notes are Milk Mousse, Black Vanilla Husk and Patchouli.

In February 2016, Salvatore Ferragamo launched another fragrance from the Signorina collection, Signorina Misteriosa. Signorina Misteriosa completes the collection as the night-time, unpredictable and mysterious flanker of the scent.

Salvatore Ferragamo celebrates chic young women creating a unique style signature of timeless modernity, creativity and a hint of audacity. A girl playing with her different characters: sophisticated and cheeky, like Signorina Eau de Parfum, elegant and seductive like Signorina Eleganza and unpredictably mysterious like Signorina Misteriosa ...because Signorina is a different Signorina every day. “My life is a play” is her credo: Grace Hartzel perfectly embodies the three personalities of Signorina deciding when and how to let the play start, but always remaining the same person. #mylifeisaplay

The composition is created by perfumers Sophie Labbe, Nicolas Beaulieu and Juliette Karagueuzoglou. The opening is fresh and bitter with flavors of wild blackberries and neroli. Orange blossom and sensual tuberose contribute to the oriental - fruity character of the scent. Patchouli gives a sophisticated touch, while black vanilla mousse marks the base.

The fragrance is available as Eau de Parfum.

Mix it with Burberry her Elixr and thank me later

Smells delicious

Krstnd

Absolutely addicted to this fragrance......if only the performance was better. If anyone knows of a perfume that smells nearly identical, but has better performance, please let me know!

Jasmine Shank

I don't know if I go nose blind or if the longevity on my skin just sucks but not long after I put this on the scent disappears, which is so unfortunate because I love the smell of this.

Khushi95

This is a very underwhelming perfume in my opinion. There is nothing groundbreaking or special about the scent profile. You can probably find better alternatives at a much affordable price point. The fragrance smells cheap and sour and the vanilla is done poorly here. I would not recommend this to anyone.

lovealwaysalisa

Recieved a travel spray and it instantly reminds me of Kate Spade New York Sparkle, which I already own a full bottle of. I like this enough, it's a fluffy creamy fruity scent with something darker in the background. I prefer the Kate Spade to this one and feel they are similar enough to not really need both, so I will pass on a full bottle of this.

amg7613

It’s not a perfume I’m going to go and write home about, but if you want a light hearted and somewhat generic berry compote of a scent - this is it. Does it last? No. Can it stand on its own? Not really. Add a splash of BBW’s Into the Night, and you can make it work!

frionita

Luxurious and perfect blend, love it !

carameg0727

This is an elegant berry/fruity scent. The blackberry shines through and works well with the patchouli.

_jenevieve_

Realistic blackberries. Check.
Woodsy graphite. Check.
Milky vanilla. Check.
I like this. It’s got great projection and longevity. Almost too good. The scent is linear and I find myself bored while Misteriosa is still going strong. Not quite a love, but I’ll keep it in my collection. It manages to avoid a cheap berry-chouli dna, instead the blackberry note is one of the best I’ve experienced. There’s an actual pencil shaving or graphite in the opening along with a twinge of freshness that fades pretty quickly before it goes to straight to blackberry vanilla crème. I liked wearing it at the end days of summer/ early fall when the blackberry bushes were dripping with overripe berries. The last time I wore it, after 10 hours of wear I had to put on a spray of Dolce Garden to give my nose a break. Nice combo.

hwoaarang

I am so torn because it has a really unique smell that I can't seem to decide whether I love or hate....it smacks you in the face with the blackberry and it remains on the skin for hours, great longevity if I'm being honest, but there's only 2 tones that stand out, the blackberry and the vanilla....the dry down is definitely my favorite part of this perfume, when you first spray it, it can get overwhelming. For me it's kind of warm spicy as well, somehow, even though none of the notes match that profile....

briannadedrew

I found this to be really boring. It's pleasant, I don't think anyone would be offended by it. It reminds me a lot of "The Comforter" from Lush. Berry with some creaminess, but it isn't very high quality so it just comes off as powdery and generic to me.

jadepo21

The opening is a blackberry bomb. It stays cloyingly sweet for my taste but some of the softer florals do peak out. It ends up being a sweet, creamy scent but my nose doesn’t pick up any tuberose or orange blossom, which would have really mellowed the berry sweetness. It’s nice, just nothing spectacular.

soy_dos_gatos

This scent is a delightful blend of sweet lactonic and clean notes. I find it somewhat playful and beautiful, although I associate it more with someone who has just taken a shower. It's just my perception, but I find it beautiful.

Beauty&d'beastmode

Signiorina Misteriosa lovely fragrance but a little strange for me. Office friendly? my manager said I smelt like banana, so it projects but I am anosmic to its projection. My husband also could smell me and said he loved it!

I blind bought this for the blackberry note which I smell from the bottle but, once I spray it, it is overpowered by this powderiness a kin to detergent in powder.

I would describe it as a sweet and smooth, not tart, fruity fragrance with a thick powder note, that remains linear throughout. I also think it is in the LVEB family, not a dupe, just kinda related.

The projection and longevity is not what I’d like, I felt I had to overspray, but I do seem to experience some anosmia with this fragrance.

I am undecided if I would repurchase. I love the smooth fruitiness, but unsure about the powder note and performance.

Also, word of warning, the juice is red or orange, so I only used it when wearing dark clothes. And the gold paint peeled of the cap and spray noozle.

fernlover

Ah, it's simply delicious. I won't say anything new here - blackberry, milk and vanilla, you can smell all of it. It's pretty simple but amazing fragrance. Juicy, creamy, sweet. Can't say more. Love it!

thaochipnd

It has a sweet, rich smell like a bottle of syrup. But it's simply sweet, I find this fragrance nothing special.

aprilsantiano

It was a love on first sniff! This is going to be my signature scent for the colder months! It smells so delicious like you have been rolling over a bed of blueberries, milk and bouquet of flowers. It is so classy and yet so playful.

Don't let the bad reviews convince you this is not a great fragrance. I have sprayed it this morning and its almost 8 pm and I can still smell it!

Delrey2002

Fruity and nice fragrance, it reminds me of blackberry candies with a hint of vanilla, but the blackberry is more prominent. On paper it stayed for a long time but when I sprayed it on my skin, unfortunately after 30 minutes I couldn't smell anything.

Shahrzaad

Blackberry vanilla milky desert all the way through. This is amazing for a cold snowy night. There is a slight tartness but at the same time heaviness to the scent. Impossible to wear in the heat.

Kari L

For me it's a musky tuberose scent with a wisper of patchouli. Good quality, decently strong but nothing to be very excited for. This is my 3 Misteriosa scent I tried and they all smell pretty much the same. Not a safe blind by for me.

Esargee27

What a delight this is! Creamy berry juiciness!! I’m a huge gourmand lover and this is simply delicious 😍 I cannot get enough of it, but unless you’re obsessed with super sweet scents like me, this may be too much for you

swedishmilk15

I like sweet scents, even some densely sweet ones such as La Nuit Tresor a la Folie. Misteriosa, however, is simply overwhelming. I think this could be good, but it is unbalanced. There is a lack of something sharp to cut through the fatty milk and vanilla--the berries can't do it alone. I'm going to re-sell or gift away my bottle to someone who tests it and likes it. Escada's Show Me Love gets the balance right, but the performance is abysmal. Combining the two wasn't successful, either.

Sad about this, especially since the bottle is the perfect combo of girly and sophisticated.

DDawson

This is just one of those perfumes that smell good. It's just one that everyone will smell generally agree it's good. Easy blind buy. Sweet floral blackberry with laconic notes and sweet Patchouli and vanilla. If you hate Patchouli do not worry this isn't that. This reminds me of azzaro wanted girl by night but a bit less sweet they are both very similar

GUADELUPA

Very beautiful scent of milk mousse, blackberry and vanilla. Milk mousse is just perfect here. The blackberry here is very ripe and tasty. I immediately remember my childhood when we mixed berries with milk, and it was delicious. This fragrance is no less beautiful, you would not want to eat it, but you would really want to smell it - it's very original and interesting, both on the skin and on clothes. The longevity and sillage is good enough. Vanilla is in the base notes and it perfectly compatible with milk mousse. But in any way, I like milk in fragrances and for me it's the best Signorina.

anneymn

I agree this is very sweet, like how artificial sweetener is even sweeter than sugar, it’s sweeter than sugar, but I also think it’s nice, sweet and tangy blackberries smashed with some milky vanilla whip cream, I don’t really get the flowers or patchouli.

NoMilkToday

Much too sweet.

ntabassum92

Pretty, musky, berry scent. Signorina Misteriosa is strong on the blackberry patchouli notes, with a heavy dollop of milk mousse or cream. I don't find it overbearingly sweet, it's a happy medium between sweet and tart blackberry. Not super unique, but pretty.

angelicforce777

such a sweet and girly perfume!! smells like a berry smoothie!!

Texasperumefan

Smells like creamy blackberries. Very sweet. When I first sprayed it, it reminded me of Burberry Her, but blackberry instead of strawberry. It has a very sweet/candy element that Burberry Her has as well. I can smell Eleganza in this scent as well, but only faintly. Some people think that it smells like grape cough syrup, and it kind of does. The cough syrup smell went away after a few minutes, you have to give it time to dry down. Once it is settled into the skin, it transforms a bit, and it is less fruity/ overwhelming. Overall, it is very sweet and pretty.

SophiaViolette

My first blind buy — based on the reviews and notes — and well, this was a success, just what I like!

First opening is a dark, ambery-type, dark fruity-floral. Loved it, chic and definitely for night time.
Oooh and the dry-down is a surprise… think vanilla whipped cream, but make it very sexy. The white florals and the patchouli gently balance the base notes, bringing sophistication.

Not loud, close to skin, high-quality and such a great deal.

Opens as a nice blackberry and whipped cream dessert. Fortunately not sickly sweet. I get quite a bit of vanilla as well.

I would say it’s more fun than sultry, but I guess it’s how it makes someone feel, so each individual will feel different wearing it.

LadyMuck

I decided to try this one having seen the hype online.

The very first thing you get a puff of sweet blackberry but that doesn't last for long as the mix of neroli, tuberose and the orange blossom blend together to create a lightly bitter amber mix.

As it dries down the vanilla and patchouli start to come to the forefront.

The milk mousse blends in with the earthiness of the ingredients to finally create a light, floral with a hint of sweetness and vanilla.
Surprisingly not as powerful as I thought it would be given the black bottle and the ingredients.

It's almost a skin scent on me. Nice cozy day wear fragrance but doesn't pack a punch. 6/10

franzkafkafan

A milk and berry smoothie you can spray on yourself. I'm partial to sweet smells so I can't help but like it. It makes for a great gift for teenagers, and the bottle is very chic.

JuanitaChristensen

Delicious berry/jammy opening that fades into a timeless vanilla scent. I really like the idea of a black perfume bottle, and then calling it a mystery.

Not a fan of the patchouli dry down though.

Bennyben1

LDBS meets Black Opium. Not literally, but that's what it feels like. It should be renamed "Entire Kitchen Sink" or "Whatever Sticks" or "Make it Work". And work, it does. I love it. One thing I can say for sure, Misteriosa is not boring. It is like having a tasting menu with a young lady who is auditioning for ten different parts and I'm having a ball the entire time.

Is it madness? Is it genius? Who knows? Who cares! I'm just along for the ride.

The scent is indescribable so I'm not even going to try. I will say that this is the first scent I can recognize a milk mousse and it realistically smells like a sweet cream. I've had "lactonic" scents before but they've never nailed it like this one does. It does take a while to get there as the scent warps and goes all over the place. But I don't mind sweet and you gotta love sweet.

Ola-la5455

Perfume is very persistent and super sillage. One spray is enough to smell the whole room. I love sweet and cloying perfumes, but these are not just sweet, they choke to death. What bothered me the most was that the smell was not natural! There are no juicy blackberries there, there are a lot of different chemical products and not edible ones. Synthetic something. I don’t smell vanilla either, the smell is just suffocating. I tried to wear it, but there is a smell right in my throat

ava96

It is way too sweet for me, especially at the start - a candy blackberry smell. Over time it didn't really develop into anything else, it just faded.

Suncica7

Love Dont Be Shy! Cheaper version and doesnt have the og dry down of course, but initial spray and first notes absolutely.
other than that, I do not perceive it as sexy. It is pretty, sweet but not sickeningly sweet like La Nuit, close tho.

Alice611

Wow very sweet but I do like it !!
It reminds me of midnight fantasy by Britney Spears but a bit more grown up.
This smells candy sweet, fruity and creamy .
Little bit headachey but still lovely.
Good projection on clothes and staying power 3-4 hours

SaraZigova

Perfume for teenies

keydday

This is straight grape candy. It reminds me of Alien or Fantasy in the dark purple bottle. It lasts a long time though, about 4-6 hours. It’s a borderline tween scent, nothing like the original at all. It doesn’t smell bad but if you are blind buying expect it to be quite “extra” and not sophisticated.

tessture

A mouthful of sweet. It's cotton candy sweet. My husband hates it. If there was blackberry here at any point I don’t get it at all. I do get the super sweet milky food elements combined with the huge white florals. I can see the milk mousse here, but it’s all so darn sweet, it’s really cotton candy. And it won’t scrub at all, which I guess is good for those who love it. Pass for me!

AmarilisV

Blind bought this at Burlington for $19.99. I had high hopes, but I dislike this. It has a super fruity blackberry blast at the beginning like a cheap air freshener. And then when it settles in a couple minutes, I start to get this plastic-like or synthetic like note, I’m unsure what it is. It could be the patchouli, or either the tuberose since that’s a tricky note. It’s ok, I don’t hate it, but I feel I would like one of the others in this line.

Kotikina

It is a thick and sweet milky blackberry dessert. Yes, it does smell synthetic and can get cloying, but it is a really interesting lactonic fruitchouli, great for a winter date night, or just to wear during the day. The patchouli in here is somewhat dark and smoky. It has this playful and somewhat intriguing vibe. The performance is actually good, both lasting power and projection. Love the bottle.

Seranity

A stumbled upon gem. That's what this was for me. Had a co-worker wear this at work and wow, it was beautiful. Had to run out and buy it as soon as I left work. What a gem. Has not dissapointed. Right off I get the orange blossom explosion, then it dries down to a blackberry dessert, then into a yummy powdery sweet treat. It's addictive. Has a reasonable duration of life on me, 3+ hours, not a beast, but then I like respraying to revisit all the layered scents as it dries down. Definately a worthwhile buy.

Kameronb24!

I had such high hopes for this… ugh another disappointment. It smells sweet like candy. Yes like skittles. Tart and sweet. No lasting power on me at all. I literally sprayed it on my wrist and 10 -15 minutes later no trace. It does last on clothes very lightly. I don’t get any patchouli. It smells good but I was hoping for something better.

Caslml

This is a playful sweet sent to me. Very blackberry and creamy. Not a lot of projection and lasts all day on clothes BUT its very light by the end of a work day. Nothing polarizing, just a sweet every day kind of scent.

PlanetGrl

Like a rich blackberry milkshake…lasts about 4 hours before it’s a skin scent, but days on clothes. Delicious and very affordable. I recommend the body lotion and shower gel to help it last longer.

Kcbear28

It’s blackberricious! To me, this is what I imagine a blackberry creamy dessert smells like. Sweet but tart. Bright but deep. Yum.

Alces Alces

Delightful sweet synthetic blackberry. Lasts about four hours, decent sillage. Great in cool or dry weather, cloying in heat and humidity, as you would expect. Must really love blackberry to appreciate this. It's the only fruit I can say that I love. Back when philosophy Falling in Love was first released it was not unlike this. Then they cheapened FIL so that it's kind of meh, not what it used to be, way too musky now. Signorina Misteriosa is similar to the original FIL. I burned through a whole bottle of that back in 2007 or so, maybe later.

What I like is that Signorina Misteriosa is sweet and dark like it wants to be sultry, but blackberry itself is a whimsical forest fruit I associate with my childhood (Dad liked to grow blackberries) and the Tale of Peter Rabbit. So it's alluring yet twee. Kind of odd. I like this a lot for autumn and winter days.

charlotte_twister

Really really want to love it. Sadly I can't purely say it's this creamy blackberry goodness when there's a HEAVY old coat undertone. Is it patchouli or legit mold? Confusion.

Rosemary14

Delicious berries and cream. It’s a bit tart, slightly fresh, but creamy too. It reminds me a bit of blackberry cobbler with whip cream. This isn’t mature, sophisticated, or perfume-y but young and fun.

EmilyinJapan

To me, this smells like La Nuit Tresor (Reformulated version) with more sweet and less powderic scents. I quite like this but don’t know when to use as I already have 75ml of it. Glad I only brought 1ml sample.

EDIT (11/24):
I tried this again today and realised the reason why I have found similarities between La Nuit Tresor and this perfume is because of the heavy use of patchouli. Today I felt this one more powderic and more synthetic. Don’t think this as milky nor creamy as listed, but not a bad scent.

lanabroz

The most beautiful blackberry scent to my nose. I smell sharp, a lil synthetic blackberry (and that's exactly what I like about this scent) mixed with smooth whipped cream.

It's delicious, sexy, different, feminine.

It lasts long, it doesn't change for hours, projection is not the best, but don't forget that this beauty is cheapy.

Perfect for date night. Hot summer date night on a fancy rooftop. She's sweet but has dirty mind. Well dressed with messy hair... She's a mixture of contradictions. And that's what makes her be Signorina Mysteriosa. Every time the wind blows he gets the dose of this intoxicating scent. He's under her spell.

daisydoodie

This was really disappointing to me as someone who usually loves scents like this. When you first spray it is like a nice basic mixture of berries and cream but then as soon as it dries down it just smells green and kind of just smells bad on my skin and on my clothes. It also doesn’t last super long which is a bit disappointing and the liquid inside was bright orange? Even though I bought it brand new from a legit website, weird.

Tulpan

Delicious dessert bomb, yummy! Opening smells like blackberry jam or bubblegum to me, it does fade to a classier vanilla scent. To me it's like a grown up version of Midnight Fantasy, where the vanilla and patchouli are prominent and help tame down all the fruitiness that otherwise would take over. It's a good evening scent, something you would wear to a date to be irresistible. It can work for daytime to if you apply with a light hand, otherwise it can be a bit too much.

emilia123

overwhelmingly patchouli. where is the creaminess everyone else was raving about?

lipstickzombie

Berry cough syrup with patchouli. Instascrubbed in a heartbeat.

justcheckinout

A mousse made of blackberry jam. The opening is such a tart berry jam that it actually makes my mouth water! But overall it’s quite linear, there hasn’t been much change in the scent two hours since I sprayed it. It’s nice smelling but I don’t really need a bottle. If anyone wants a bottle in CONUS please PM me!

siynaloa

Sweet creamy vanilla in a good way

Every time i sprayed this perfume everyone in the office or when I’m with friends ask who smell so good ?

Men like it woman too ♥️
It’s a win win fragrance you can’t go wrong with it

Chiquita Virtual

I honestly wasn't expecting much when they first applied this to me, but I got a big, nice surprise afterwards!!! I need to add this EDP to my collection ASAP, smells wonderfully & lasts forever!!!

EDIT: I have it already, OH GOD, how amazingly it sits on my skin <3

bunnycrush_

To my nose: blackberry-flavored cough syrup. Medicinal, sickly sweet, headachey.

I cannot conceive of smelling this and thinking classy / elegant / sultry, but of course everyone’s taste is different.

I’ve been auditioning milky, lactonic fragrances, trying to find a scent for day-to-day. This one was a big miss for me on that front; even ignoring the syrupy quality, I don’t get the “milk mousse” note, which is a shame because I love that lingo!

DariaFrancesca74

Signorina Misteriosa by Salvatore Ferragamo created by Sophie Labbe, Nicolas Beaulieuu and Juliette Karagueuzoglou this triad leaves me a little dumbfounded ... three noses to create a fragrance that betrays expectations!? It does not evolve, at least to my sense of smell, I do not appreciate its nuances, very flat, banal, I do not find it at all lactonic as it is defined, for me the lactones par excellence are: Remember Me by Jovoy Paris, Secretions Magnifiques by Etat Libre d'Orange , Seminalis of Orto Parisi. Unfortunately Signorina Misteriosa has a very violent impact on me, the dry looks like a nauseating insecticide flavored with Neroli. At the dry down, tuberose appears more welcoming, with confused floral notes! I don't feel it… a fruity trait, but a pungent note remains that doesn't do it justice. I don't like giving negative comments for free but this fragrance doesn't excite me.

BlackAmberMoon

I wouldn't say it's seductive or mysterious, but I wear it when I want something smooth and sweet that doesn't smell like everything else. The tuberose gives this a hit of sophistication, eliminating the "candy" effect. It makes me smile.

Park.K.Bae

Signorina Misteriosa starts off with a blast of cool, sweet blackberry on a floral vanilla base. The first minute of it is beautiful to my nose. As the fragrance dries down, it quickly morphs into its strong patchouli base. This is not a green or sweet patchouli but a dark, smoky one. Something went wrong on my skin, and the smokiness overwhelms the blackberry and even the vanilla base. This is sadly unwearable to me. It smells like something burning. The sweetness is faint after three minutes. Maybe I am anosmic to the lactonic notes.

My bottle is from November 2021, so I think it's just me. In all fairness, I can still perceive the sultry, dark and sexy facet of the fragrance. If you want something fruity but not overly sweet, try it out. It's a cheapie and worth a shot.

AlaskanAngel

Starts off as a smooth, semisweet berry but then it gets awful as it settles into a generic, too sweet, fruitchouli. Nope. The drydown makes me clench my jaw. This was not made for me.

Review of full bottle blind-buy.

DarlingLovely

Starts out as a very juicy, fruity scent, becoming creamier as it go on. Reminiscent of a yummy, almost soothing dessert.

raconteurvivi

This smells very fruity albeit a bit more candy-like or syrupy. The initial blackberry and vanilla made me expect it to smell like a teenager, but as it dries down I can smell the seductiveness of the scent. I'm living in Jakarta and strangely quite a lot of young women working in the central business district seem to be a fan of this scent. It's honestly not my kind of scent, but if you're into it, I think it'd be best worn at nights (and you're feeling flirty, perhaps).

Paralari

It’s quite nice but it’s too synthetic and it’s kinda bothers me

yeesa_

Bright blackberry. Very candy like and SYNTHETIC. im not too fond of the scent. It doesn't project at all and lasts 2 hrs max

ShowMustGoOn

Blackberry syrup, sugar, vanilla, patchouli. Nice for a night. Grown fragrance. Not loud, rather classy. I don’t know why but I think of women in their 60s wearing it, like my mother’s friends would smell like this. And they always smell good but not using niche fragrances. Anyway…

Not bad but not super unique to my nose. It is syrupy rather than fresh fruty. If you want a true blackberry try Mure et Musc by L’Artisan. Or one of those Trish McEvoy perfumes. I think #9. More fruity rather than syrupy.

Update: returned it. It got too cloying and sweet, like chokingly sweet.

saccitygrl01

If you are looking for a blackberry scent this is one to check out. Blackberry is a top note but it is more a muddled fruit or fruit compote scent not fresh blackberry. It is sweet but not syrupy. On dry down the blackberry is still a top note though a tad more subtle and it is enveloped by a slight vanilla and white floral scent which I presume is tuberose. I don’t like tuberose that much but this is so well blended it just adds a nice bright floral to the fragrance. I don’t pick up any of the milky/creamy notes on me. This is a nice scent for winter and spring but not really a summer scent for me as it is a bit too heavy for my taste in the summer. It doesn’t smell cheap but is not especially sophisticated or elegant scent. I layer with a blackberry body spray from Victoria’s Secret and it hits the spot when I am in the mood for a dose of a berry floral fragrance that is reminiscent of a slightly complex shower gel or shampoo. Not very long lasting—noticeable for a couple of hours and then begins to ebb away.

Ninalovesclassy

This is sooo sexy and smells like a fancy night event I want to intend to. Also, perfect for a special date night. Can't wait to buy it to see how is it with the sillage and projection.

Luthien999

In my personal opinion, This perfume smells really mysterious. I Can imagine that some
Young gothic/rock Chick smells like This.

Cherubina

Hmmm. :( Well I smell florals, powder, tiny bit of blackberry .Its soapy. Dry. Powdery. Feminine. Name should be Plain Signorina. Weak performance. Projection non existent. :(

Rober7a

I was expecting a fresh burst of blackberries, but instead I got a hit of sickly and synthetic blackberry syrup. As a lover of all things gourmand, this is too sweet even for me, but the longevity and projection are quite good. Oh well, my quest to find a juicy blackberry scent continues.

PlayboyBunnyLover

On first spray this smells sorta funky on my skin but after maybe 3-4 mins the scent dries down and turns into a milky grape bubble gum scent. So if you’re not a fan of tuberose this won’t be for you. (Granted I’m usually not a fan of tuberose I.e. My way) but I do really enjoy this scent

I’m conflicted about this fragrance honestly. The initial spray is terrible but the dry down is very nice. The bottle is absolutely cute and the atomizer is beautiful, it sprays the perfect mist.

Raluko111

While there is nothing mysterious about this scent (other than the name and the black packaging), it is a very good vanilla berry bouquet that is sweet and sensual without being screechy, cheap, or cloying. I bought it because I like vanilla notes. Misteriosa is a lot sweeter and more discreet than Lolita Lempicka Le Parfum. It also doesn`t last as long. Despite that, I like it more: I can only wear LL in the cold season and applied very discreetly, just on my wrists, because it can get heady very quickly, whereas Misteriosa is a lot lighter and more youthful and I can see myself wearing it in all seasons.

Munz

I can smell the milk mouse only in the beginning is anyone can check the longevity of this perfume I can’t. Smell only when spraying then it disappear only a synthetic rubber smell after a minute

darimai

In the spirit of Black Opium and My Burberry Black, but not as good as those. Not too sweet, but sultry and sexy. Nothing amazing or incredible, but it's a better alternative for "not so special" occasions. It's more inconspicuous and more understated. With time it mellows down. If you're a fan of the scent profile, just spray it on a few hours in advance, and go enjoy an evening with people who know and love you for who you are. Used in moderation, I'd say it's ok for most "not too strict" office spaces.
It's the tame, daytime summer version of Black Opium or My Burberry Black. Even the bottle is similar to MBB.

While the opening gives a tartness to the blackberry, that disappears and settles into a strong blackberry syrup scent. It smells like a mixed berry milkshake deepened by the orange blossom and tuberose as supporting players, but never taking the limelight. The powder of the tuberose acts as powdered sugar to this. I don't notice the patchouli in this. When another reviewer mentioned the berry syrup served at a diner with pancakes I thought that was accurate. It begins like a fruit leather smell (like Fruit Rollups) with the hint of sour, and then deepens into sugar syrup that doesn't taste natural but exceedingly sweet. I kept wavering back and forth between berry milkshake, berry sundae like at McDonald's and berry cream hard candy. The projection and duration are strong. My daughter sprayed it a couple of times in her room last night and the next morning the scent was still filling the room.

I wanted to like this but it's far too sweet for me. Gourmand and heavy vanilla with dominant fruit scent lovers would like this. I think it's better for younger ladies (my ten year old loves it), hence the "signorina."

I first reviewed Signorina Misteriosa on 8/17/2021. I just tried this fragrance again, and my experience with it was so different I wanted to write an updated review.

I was looking through a box of handbags I don't use, and found one I carried often, years ago. I decided check to see if there was anything inside. The last time I took this handbag anywhere was to my pre-Covid job, in the Fall of 2019. In one of the side pockets, I found a half full travel spray bottle of Signorina Misteriosa.

I laughed out loud. I felt like an archaeologist. "Behold! A precious relic from the Pre-Covid Era." How different my life had been, back when I was wearing this scent.

My last impressions of Signorina Misteriosa were that it had been a disappointment. I bought it for the blackberry, but found it lacking the fruity notes I had been anticipating. Or rather the fruit notes that were there were being drowned out by a soapy, fabric softener presence. Despite all of that, I thought- why not test it again?

I sprayed. Holy cats... there was the fruit! A big hit of dark berries- blackberries and blueberries, mixed. I was reminded of the blackberry syrup on the tables at the International House of Pancakes. And- as I am a gourmand lover- that is a good thing! The fruit was now so prominent, I was amazed I hadn't detected it before.

It was like Signorina Misteriosa had read my previous review and said "Hardly any fruit, huh?" then conjured all the berry notes it could, and infused this travel size with them.

What had started me off wanting to purchase this fragrance initially was that I got a sample of it, years ago, in another fragrance order. I ended up liking the sample of Signorina Misteriosa more than the full bottle of fragrance I had ordered. It was a gourmand, but a dark gourmand. It was very fruity, a dark berry syrupy scent, with just a touch of patchouli to drape a plush layer of black velvet beneath the fruity sweetness. I had to have more. I ordered the travel size immediately, then soon after ordered a 3.4 ounce bottle.

With this most recent testing, it seemed like either my perception of the scent had changed, or the scent itself had altered over the years. I wondered if the full bottle, which had been in my crisper drawer in my refrigerator all these years, had also changed. I tested the big bottle on my other arm, and waited. The sweet fruitiness in the larger bottle was definitely now more prominent to my nose than the soapy freshness of the fabric softener.

How had this fragrance changed so completely?

When I write reviews for Fragrantica, I try to be as accurate as I can be when testing a fragrance. I swatch every fragrance twice, once in the morning and once in the evening, and record how long it wears. I never test a fragrance if I have any trace of allergies, or other stuffy nose situation. I write down the notes as they appear during both testings, then contrast them with the notes listed by the manufacturer.

This is why I was so surprised. How could two experiences with the same fragrance be so divergent? When I reviewed Signorina Misteriosa before, it was as if I had tried on a completely different fragrance. Fragrances, of course, are never exactly the same, even when sprayed on the same day. But this- it was like night and day.

Signorina Misteriosa may have been a flop before, but I'm really enjoying it now. It's bursting full of luscious blackberry. The vanilla is creamy- very prominent in the dry-down- something else I hadn't perceived before. Maybe the little unassuming black handbag quietly possesses the hidden power to make fragrances more fruity smelling---?

More likely, the cause of this disparity was due to not wearing gourmand fragrances over the past six months. My nose's cognizance of the sweetness levels of perfumes had altered over time. I still love sweet fragrances, but lately have been exploring fresher, herbal scents. I've been mainly wearing my mother's signature perfume, Ma Griffe, as well as Valentino's Rosa Verde. Ma Griffe has a citrus aspect to it, and on me dries down a bit sweet, but it is most definitely not a gourmand fragrance. I remembered I had gone through a phase back in 2019-2021 when it seemed like I couldn't find a fragrance that was sweet enough for me- and I own some VERY sweet scents. At different phases in my life I have worn Estee Lauder's Azuree (original formula), Presciptives' Calyx, Lancome's O, Ma Griffe of course, and briefly Bobbi Brown's original scent- the pale green one with the silver top, that seems to have vanished from the face of the planet.

And so- our tastes change, and evolve.

Reinforced by this lost-and-found encounter with a previously "rejected" fragrance was the dictum of: if I am seized by the mood to get rid of fragrances that don't seem to be working at the moment, that I should just wait. Do not throw them away. Store the "offending" scent, where it can't be seen. The last time I wore Signorina Misteriosa I thought-- I'm never going to wear this stuff again. And now, I can't get enough of it.

Dark berry-sweet; candy-like, but a hint of floral freshness; and a touch of a very tamed, silky patchouli. Signorina Misteriosa is now my perfect "new" before-bed fragrance. It gives me that "here is a hot comforting drink/time to climb into the freshly laundered crisp sheets" feeling. And- that's nice. It gets a touch sweeter, but not luridly so, in the dry down. It has a very long life as a vanilla/berry comforting skin scent. I could smell it on my arm, easily, the next morning. It's really yummy.

Definitely recommended for blackberry lovers with a sweet tooth. Finally, the blackberry is a main note that lasts on me, not like the disappointments with Falling in Love and Trish McAvoy No. 9. Both of those are lovely fragrances, but neither had half the wear time I'm enjoying with Signorina Misteriosa. Both are also much less lush and sweet.

I love when I find a forgotten fragrance, and can celebrate it all over again. It's all the fun of getting a new scent, minus the cost, and the wait for it to be delivered. Win-win!

TT001

Smells to me exactly of grape and strawberry flavoured Nerds candy. I love a good sweet scent, and wish it kept that Nerds scent longer but sadly it became a bit of a generic fruit sweet smell after less than an hour on me :(

emeraldwaters

I'm not a fan of this one. It's basically the darker/berry version of LDBS. Heavy on the neroli

betsyglez8

This scent is like some hard candy , the berrys just give me this sintéthetic sweet tart smell . I just can’t stop thinking in sweet tarts candy when I put this on ,
The memories this perfume gives me , is , never getting a compliment . I consider this to be a great scent for teens that are starting to use perfumes , but I have to pass this one away . To some one else had it for years in my collection only used it very few times

lifnisanders

Sweet fruity vanilla, not the milky one. Cheerful and feminine. Your fresh morning scent ✨

Lizykaes

Es un aroma rico más no un aroma que me enamore, lo uso para dormir ya que no me dura nada ….
No gastes tu dinero en este perfume, hay mejores!

CheyWolf

First I wanna start by saying I love the atomizer on this fragrance, light continuous stream. The opening is a very sharp, bright fruity blast. The tuberose in this is beautiful, very sweet and “candy” like in my opinion. When the milk mouse and vanilla finally break through on my skin I get a blackberry cheesecake type of smell. It’s sweet yet fresh at the same time, all around a pretty feminine scent. The patchouli is noticeable but it’s not to earthy even though I am a fan, people who aren’t might not mind it in this fragrance. Longevity is amazing I get about 6 hrs with projection and about 3 to 4 more hrs after that as a skin scent, it lasts on my clothes until I wash them. 8.5/10

juliana.dallagnol

Sooooo soft and delicate, yet powerful and sensual! I'm not a big fan of tuberose, but in this perfume I don't perceive it at all. It's sweet, berry and creamy. I would add "powdery" to the main accords. I don't particularly isolate vanilla, but I'm pretty sure it is playing an important role in the roundness of this fragrance. Even though this fragrance is night-appropriate, if I spray lightly I can use it as an everyday (signature) scent. Very versatile. I absolutely LOVE it!

MaxieF

I like this. It smells like la vie est belle leclat but better. It's more youthful. I don't get any milky notes. Just straight up sweet berries and it's hard to make out which specific Berries it is. Pretty decent projection and lasting power. I agree that it's like Black Opium without the Coffee. Which is exactly what Black Opium Neon is. I have Neon and I'll have to decide which I like more now cause I hate having two similar fragrances.

Edit: after a few wears I actually do get the milky notes. And it does have at tiny hint of love dont be shy.

Cess268

This is like Black Opium without the coffee note, but with cream instead. Perfect for those who like berries, cream & vanilla, but don't like coffee in your fragrances. Excellent lasting power. And a wonderful addition to my collection. I actually was able to still smell wiffs of it the next morning, as I was doing my am walk. And I'd sprayed it the previous morning on my skin.😁I have a travel sized bottle of this now but I am definitely going to upgrade to a full bottle. This stuff is divine.

PerfumeCloudAngel

This was a blind buy for me based on reviews from a famous YT reviewer.
I like the scent. It has fantastic projection and the berries and liquorice is very much there.
However I have a couple others similar to this one so I am selling off my bottle (sprayed thrice) box is available too. So if you’re in the U.K. please leave me a DM.

Cici20

Sweet, dense, creamy and very gourmand. Think blackberry ice cream served on vanilla waffles. I love it! I actually love it so much I don’t want to use it up(and I have a 100ml bottle!🤣)

Thé sillage and projection are great for the first 2 hours then becomes moderate for the next 5 hours. It works well with my skin,It’s absolutely my most complimented perfume. The opening is my favorite part, I could drink it if it was edible!

nightvanillabby

I definitely agree with all the comments saying that it smells like skittles, the green skittles to be precise. It is too sharp for my liking (I prefer creamier perfumes) and it is definitely not a safe blind buy. It does dry down pleasantly, but I think the berry note is too strong that it overshadows the other notes. Personally, I find it a little unsettling. Not what I expected from this perfume tbh, nothing mysterious, just... fruit gone bad?

lucie_fla

the opening smells like skittles.. smells better after a few hour.. sillage n projection is good..
but i dont find it misterious at all..

jane807

I love this way more that the OG Signorina... the dry down is so sweet and comforting

ScentedTiger

This is a confusing fragrance. The longer you wait, the nicer it gets. It’s a pretty long wait. Is it worth it? (Edit, 2/13/2022: yes. Yes, it is.)

Signorina Misteriosa starts off as a big blast of (pleasant) floral fabric softener. The neroli and orange blossom lead the charge. Fancy little soaps in an elegant hotel bathroom come to mind. There is the sense that the sweeter aspects of the fragrance are waiting in the distance, behind the floral notes. I find Signorina Misteriosa to be- odd. It feels like it can’t decide what it is. Perhaps during its conception, there was a massive, tabletop pounding argument between the floral/crisp camp, and the fruity/sweet contingent. “Brisk and refreshing!” “No! Candy-like and juicy!”

After a few minutes something fruity does arrive, but you can’t tell what notes are there. The white florals and the patchouli have formed a defensive ring around this unidentifiable fruit. The fruit-ness could be a distillation of different citruses that have been reduced into a concentrated extract to add to candles, or, yes— soap. And fabric softener.

I adore blackberry in perfumes. I have yet to find the “ultimate” blackberry scent. Falling in Love by Philosophy is nice, but the EDT lasts all of ten minutes on me, if that. Trish McAvoy #9 is also nice, and also super fleeting. Every blackberry fragrance I have come across, frustratingly, proves to be fugitive on me. And the blackberry note invariably has musk as a companion. I find that the sharp soapy nature of the musk cancels out the blackberry’s fruity juiciness. I don’t want an aloof soapy blackberry. I want a come-hither, jammy fruit cobbler kind of blackberry.

“Misteriosa” could be an allusion to the blackberry, as in- where is it?

Blackberry is the reason I blind bought Signorina Misteriosa. I had read many reviews praising its blackberry-ness. I was so excited to try it. At that first eager spray, I cringed. No blackberry, but that expensive floral fabric softener. Blackberry- are you in there? Irritatingly, the longer I waited, the softer and nicer Signorina Misteriosa became. I wear it only rarely because of the opening. If I do give it another shot, I apply it, then sort of forget about it. In an hour or so, I think- hey- what smells so nice?

And by the time the blackberry and “milk mousse” and vanilla “husk” have finally shown up, Signora Misteriosa has faded almost entirely away. To me, it’s just not worth the wait.

If soapy, white floral, slightly fruity scents are your favorites, I would definitely give Signorina Misteriosa a try.

AuraAngelMuse

I'm so sad about this perfume. I should've listened when people said it smelled like Skittles. Lime Skittles to be precise. Since it has blackberry in the notes, I was expecting something like the opening of Viva La Juicy Noir(which I only like the opening for VLJN, something about the base is musky and weird for me) but with a better dry down and better lasting power. SM smells almost exactly like Love by Sofia Vergara to my nose and that one was also a strong dislike for me. They both smell like lime Skittles mixed with cotton candy to my nose and something about that combo is just so unpleasant. This perfume does have amazing projection and lasting power though, especially on clothes. It lasted at least two weeks on a hoodie I wore once and left hanging in the closet for the next couple weeks.

angelicalisseth

to me this just smells like a cheap perfume that is way too strong. i could see this smelling nice on some people but not on me. definitely would not overspray this. reminds me of 5 below perfumes :/

almondluver1

Omg this one is sooo good!! It's like everything I've ever wanted in a bottle and it's easily becoming one of my favorites of all time 😲🙈. If you're a fan of super super super sweet fragrances and gourmands, then this will be right up your ally. This is probably one of the sweetest perfumes I've ever smelt in my entire life. To me, this smells like creamy yummy vanilla marshmallowy blackberries with a mega sugar overload. SO good!

supergirl9412

Surprisingly green at first, then settles into some white florals and blackberry sugar. I’m a gourmand lover, so I find the florals a bit annoying here ... but, really, it blends pretty well with the gourmand notes. The drydown is delicious... blackberries and powdered sugar.

Projection is ok and creates a nice bubble. Longevity lacks a little (low end of moderate).

It’s a no-brainer if you like a fruity-floral. Even if you’re a gourmand lover that doesn’t care for florals, I think you’ll like it.

(And I should mention ... I liked it so much I bought a back-up bottle. It was on sale! #yolo)

RSB28

Was surprised to see that this is blackberry and not blueberry, as to me this just smells like blueberry syrup on me. Sometimes this pulls too sweet on me, but for the most part I really love this scent, especially in slightly warmer weather.

Kisa21

I love this. I smell blackberry and vanilla almost equally, with just a hint of patchouli. It's warm, sweet, and decadent without being heady. This is one of my favorite scents to wear at night, and I wear it all year round. It's not as potent as I would like at times, but I do also wear this in bed where I don't want too strong of a fragrance, so I can't complain. This is the perfect blackberry scent in my opinion, and I want to get this in the body lotion as well.

llamasinpajamas

what a beautiful dark berry. there's definitely a greenness to it in the opening, almost like black tea. i get the milk and vanilla later in the drydown, that's when the sweetness is more pronounced. very charming, and indeed mysterious

SummerRose

My first impression of this fragrance is that it has a sweet bright openning. I then get creamy berry and a dry down with soft vanilla. Some have described this as very sweet, others have said its mysterious but for me, it's not too sweet, it's not too berry (fruity) and it is not mysterious. It's a lovely creamy, feminine, soft perfume with moderate longevity and projection. I've only just bought it but I do like it. Overall I rate it 7/10.

JessVanEgg

This fragrance is what you wear when you want to appear mysterious yet charming. It smells dark, with vanilla, blackberry, and patchouli as the most prominent notes, and a hint of orange blossom. I don’t really smell the milk mousse but I can see why people think so.

It is strong, it’ll smell all day long and for most of the time, it’ll have a moderate sillage. Very feminine scent.

I love it and it's a 8.5/10 from me!

SrileyWilson

When this drys down OH MY WORD it smells amazing. It’s a heavy intoxicating gourmand fragrance. I had an issue with the lasting powers so I started applying palmers cocoa butter lotion on first it helps and doesn’t change the fragrance notes.

Nourhan

Its nice. but if you have black opium or something similar to it, then don't buy this one. It's familiar, but its actually good

sassa7

Mmm dark intoxicating beauty. Bubblegummy tuberose dream in a basket full of blackberries and green leaves. Im a dreamer, I live in a bubble and perfumes like this one help me escape. When I wear this, I picture a lady with tiny white flowers on her rosegold hair, she's in a white sparkly medieval dress and she's walking next to her black horse, both exploring an enchanted forest where the leaves and the berries are all candied, and she's touching everything that shines under the moonlight. Very unique scent. As a whole it is not overly sweet on me. Many reviews made me think twice about buying it, but Im glad I bought it.
Dark aromatic berry/floral sweetness with a touch of herbal spice (patchouli).. To me this is mysterious indeed. The opening is phenomenal. Brighter and sweet like bubblegum the first 30 mins and then darker, slightly peppery, sweet-sour with a touch of greenIm also not getting James Bond 007 at all.. James Bond 007 is one of my beloved, favorite perfumes, much like a colder, milky Hot Couture EDT, intense bergamot, gardenia and black pepper, very lactonic!
Misteriosa on me has the barbie-doll sweetness of KKW NIght Iris at first, it is almost rubbery here if that makes sense. Must be the tuberose and blackberry. This type of sweetness mainly I am getting from the projection, mixed with the subtle sourness of the candied berry accord, similar to the berry sweetness of Midnight Fantasy, not as juvenile and happy. Its drydown is reminiscent of Midnight Fantasy but with more spice, darker like Dark Kiss. Some berry tartness is still prominent after 2 hours, a soft whisper. I instantly detect the patchouli, it is almost minty and fizzy here with the milk mouse, blended with a beautiful sweet peppery orange blossom, the kind I find in Black Opium. There is a subtle masculine vibe here on my skin after about 15 mins, from the milk mousse. Its last stage is mainly patchouli, milk mouse and the orange blossom on me with some traces of tuberose and blackberry. Sweet, dark, peppery/fizzy. Paris Hilton Luxe rush also has milk mousse, patch and tuberose, and some guys consider it unisex. This is not unisex though, it is feminine. It is just dark with some "cold" spice to it. Also not too milky on me, but more spicy and subtly green. I consider it same league as KKW Night Iris, Britney's Midnight Fantasy and the darker woodier than MF, Dark Kiss. This is new and unique to me and I love it! I find that it smells heavier/heady on my mom's oily skin, but I have pasty dry skin so maybe why the notes are in such harmony.

Kanutten

From the pyramid I get all the notes, except for the tuberose. It's creamy and sweet, but not overly so, as it does have a freshness to it. On me it's not too sweet, but I get how this easily could happen if you have skin that tends to amp up sweet notes. If not and you don't mind a bit of patch, go ahead!! It's a lovely scent and a bit underrated IMO.

Its a creamy / milky berry scent with some patch and citrus.
Sprays a fine mist. Cute bottle.

Phemia

When I first sampled Signorina Misteriosa I thought I liked it. I actually wore it out often but as I wore it more often, I realized why my stomach started feeling upset every time I wore this: it's way too sweet. I like decently sweet perfumes, typically sweet white floral fragrances but this.. this is pure cough syrup in a glass bottle. It's saccharine sweet, cloying, and strong to boot so you can't even get a reprieve for a moment. I'll do my best to describe the fragrance journey, however short it may be, and look past the sickening sweetness. The fruit in here is very obviously blackberry. It's deeper, darker, and heavier than say raspberry or strawberry scents. There definitely is detectable white floral but it's almost completely overtaken by the fruity sweetness. As it dries down the amber and patchouli come out a bit more but it stays very, very sweet. Let me reiterate: the sweetness of this fragrance does not fade down, it does not settle. It sticks around for the entire ride. Right next to the sweetness, I pick up on a clean laundry quality. More like an incredibly concentrated, sweet fruity scented laundry detergent. I'm not quite sure where it comes from but the syrupy quality of this doesn't allow what could be a nice, if not misplaced, laundry scent to cut through and help make this less cloying. Instead I just feel like I need to run and scrub Misteriosa off so that I can have a moment to breathe.

I could just be sensitive to this fragrance, but the sillage, strength, and longevity is, unfortunately for me, pretty good. Way, way too heavy for Spring or Summer. I wouldn't wear this during the day either. It's just too suffocating for me.

This is far from gourmand. Misteriosa is drinking an entire bottle of fruity cough syrup, not eating a decadent dessert.

americanablonde

I agree with the other reviews that this perfume is too sickly sweet. It smells exactly like a candy that I used to eat around Easter as a child (though I can't remember what the candy is)! The scent is very syrupy, and I picked up an almost raspberry type of note, even though raspberry isn't listed. I think the name of the perfume is pretty misleading as well. This doesn't smell mysterious to me at all. It smells like a nighttime gourmand perfume for a teenager, who's just starting to get into fragrance.

The longevity and sillage of this perfume are pretty good, but it sadly gave me a slight headache as the day wore on. It's just too cloying, and a bit tart, for my personal tastes, and the perfume never developed beyond that. I never got any of the vanilla or patchouli base notes. Instead, I was just met with the boring syrupy berry note every time I got a whiff of the fragrance, which I didn't particularly enjoy.

nordic.girl

I like sweet perfumes, but this one was overly sickening sweet to me, it gave me a little bit of nausea and headache, so I had to send it back, regrettably, as I actually wanted to like it so much, and I found the bottle to be extremely cute. Maybe it's the mix of tart blackberry and the sweet cream which I couldn't tolerate, in any case I recommend sampling before blind-buying, even to those who typically like sweet perfumes like me: this purchase may not be as safe as you think.

katheryne_art

I did really like this perfume at first but then I realised it's definitely way too sweet and syrupy and it's a little bit overwhelming for me. There is also something about it that reminds me just a little bit of Black Opium, which I don't like. So now I just 'like' it, don't 'love'.

Cherrylipgloss

Beautiful! Creamy, sweet, soft and berrylicious. I just wish it had better staying power.

Birdie

Sometimes I want to wear a fragrance that just smells good. I dont want it to be challenging or complex or cerebral - just good. And I reach for this one.
Yeah....its not mysterious, it comes in a cute bottle. Its sweet but not sickening, its fruity but not too fruity. Its got that milky mousse-y vibe without it being hospital dessert and it makes me very happy......on days when I crave this type of perfume.
It lasts fairly well on skin but really doesnt project too much, though I suppose sprayed on clothes it might give off more - must try that.
All in all its a big love from me

Chinellet

This fragrance lies midway between JPG So Scandal and Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. It opens with a cherry/grape coca cola just as the So Scandal and dries with a mild spice as Flowerbomb. Its a great dinner night out with bae kind of scent.

Koningin

The grape soda stench is persistent. Especially in the first 10 minutes. It becomes a bit less obnoxious after that but it still smells like skittles in the dry down. This is a school girl perfume and something Jojo Siwa could probably market to her underage audience.

yunaluna

have been testing this for a few years now, on and off, hoping one day it will just click and become a real love. saw it again today and couldn't resist trying once more. unfortunately it's still a meh.

the most interesting part is the opening, when the crisp berry and neroli are more prominent. unfortunately, it soon descends into a very generic, artificial vanilla. the white florals and patchouli do very little to mitigate the cloying sweetness. which, coming from a diehard sweet gourmand fan, is saying a lot.

i'm posting this review mainly as a note to my future self: stop testing it again. put it down. keep it moving. don't let the chic bottle sway you. and don't ever look the pretty bow in the eye! not that you ever listen to me.

Hunnynpink

Bright juicy berries in cream... sweet tarts candy but in a sexy way

dimitrowa.s

Contrary to the name, this is not mysterious in any way. On the contrary, this is a happy sweet scent, a mix of tart blueberries and sweet cream, very bright daytime scent. Only when you reach the drydown, it has a bit of powderyness that reminds me of Insolence. Just reminds me, it's not a dupe or anything. On the right type of skin this projects a few feet and remains detectable a good 5-6 hours. I think I might be reaching for this quite often now in the spring.

rosey_nosey

Remember that pink medicine you took as a kid for an ear infection? This is the fragrance version of that. Super sweet, reminds me of britney spears fantasy. The tuberose has a bit of a bubble gum smell in this. The milk mouse is what made me blind buy this, and meh. It may be smoothing things out, but I was hoping it would be more creamy. Wears ok, projects ok...all around just ok.

aeanian

I have this one for quite some time, so here are my thoughts.. Firstly, the bottle is beautiful, it feels heavy, looks luxurious, it's girly and fits well with other perfumes. I have the 50 ml one. The bow looks like a cute addition to the whole look.
Now more about the scent - I really like it. On my pale skin I can smell mostly the vanilla and the creaminess from this milk mousse note. It's very soft, pleasant, unoffensive. Great for daily use, for office. I don't really smell any fruits, but the scent is rather sweet. It's not on the floral side thankfully and I don't smell any woody notes. The only downside is the silage which is nowhere to be found, sadly. If that was a bit more longlasting it would be amazing! But alas, I can smell it for not more than 1-2 hours after spraying this. It stay close to the skin for sure. But I still love it - it's not complicated and it stays the same pretty much from the beginning until the dry down until it becomes a skin scent. It's delicate fragrance so this black bottle might be a bit misleading. One would expect some rich, dark and heavy fragrance based on the looks, but it's rather soft, cozy, great for fall and winter. Sweet, but not overly sweet, with lots of vanilla and creaminess. The price is not bad for what you getting.

JolieSucre

Unfortunately I was disappointed with this, not because of its quality or longevity, but because of the scent itself - it just isn’t for me.

I can’t believe it has the same paper-like (newspaper or notebook) tang that D&G and Dior Poison Girl have. Identical.

To me that is so strong that from the moment I sniffed this, that was the main note I felt. Yes it does have some berry and milky, whipped cream notes, but that newspaper scent makes it not my thing. Sprayed twice, puff puff, will most likely give it as a gift to some friend.

What a pity :( I really wanted to like this.

poppyetpear

Signorina Misteriosa is just an ok frag for me. And I do agree with other posters that the name and bottle doesn't match the scent. It's very safe, simple, inoffensive and not mysterious at all. It starts with a fresh, powdered raspberry scent and dries down to a lightly sweetened milky scent with that same powdered raspberry and patchouli hanging out close by. Nothing to write home about here. It's a bit dull. I love sweet, creamy gourmands and I'm not picking up anything super sweet here. I would very rarely wear this scent. I may reach for it if I got a lil bored with my faves and not in the mood to make a statement. Its tame nature might be good for layering with a fruity scent that's a bit too sharp. If you blind buy this, you might be underwhelmed.

Fraghag7

This is piercingly sweet, I almost can't stand it. But give it 30 minutes or so and then dry down is heaven. A must is all I can handle with this sweet beast but I suffer through the opening to enjoy the base notes which settles to a raspberry cotton candy on my skin. This almost smells like la vie est belle and D&G pour femme combined.

qofb

Tried this in store only. I thought it was a piercing but powdery vanilla with dark berry fruits, almost like a milkshake or a berry gelato. It's pretty but very sweet! Lasted well on my skin, noticeable on the skin for 7 hours or so but with very little projection. If you want to smell like a berry dessert, go for this! The bottle is also very pretty!

Rangel7

I just love this baby and I probably can't explain exactly why. It's not very mysterious like her name suggests, I'd say more of a sweet, creamy, berry smell: nothing dark and mysterious in here.
One of the low points is that it doesn't really project, so it's what I call a "selfish fragrance": I can smell it, but nobody else can enjoy it unless they really invade my personal space.
I think it's probably not for everybody, so proceed with caution, and try it before buying.
Note: it's a colored liquid, so don't spray it on clothes unless they're dark. I sprayed my wrist while wearing a cream colored sweater and I got a stain on the sleeve.

I really appreciate this one! 🖤 At first it may discourage some, if they compare it to the original, which is really wonderful, but here we are talking about an all year round scent (except Summer), which can easily be considered a signature scent. Creamy, milky mousse, bathed in blackberry syrup. An elegant and delicious berry dessert for any occasion... It's a very sweet fruity smell, especially in the opening, but it has a characteristic "darkness" on the edge. The notes of vanilla & patchouli soothe its super-sweetness when the drydown comes. For some reason in the opening, it reminds me of a fruity 00's berry lip balm. A simple girly fragrance that hides something serious. Maybe the colder the temperature, the more it rises. Lasts long enough too! It is a milky-fruity hug! 🍇🍦

I think either the neroli or orange blossom gives this a slightly soapy scent, this is beautiful though and it makes it different from anything else, it breaks it up so it isn’t so cloying whilst it’s still syrupy sweet! Sprayer is so luxurious too, it comes out amazingly. I’m thinking longevity and projection arent going to be an issue :)

Update 3 months later!!
Sold this, a no from me, it’s just not wearable at all, it’s too much of everything - and I don’t ever say this lol! Projection and staying power okay, 4hrs I’d say, projection I’d say like 5inches from the body lol so not a skin scent but also nothing special

maximali

Initially this is so lovely when I first spray it and I like the big burst of perfumed juiciness.
But... very quickly I have to wash it off as I get a headache trying to sniff my wrist to find the blackberry or other elements. It's like a chemical barrier forcing me back! I've tried it twice and the same thing happened. This is really not for me.

Rozalina

This fragrance opens with a lovely burst of eau de pencil shavings mingled with blackberries n’ cream, then turns into sickly blackberry syrup, then nothing. I’ve tried to love my cute little black bottle so many times but every time I spray this on, I want to run to the sink to wash it off. The “mystery” as to why this perfume is so unpleasant and peppery is solved now that I see the list of notes- NEROLI at the top! :(

Jasmindee

Wow, what a sweet little treat!

I went to Sorrento a few years ago and as my friend and I took in the glorious sunshine, beautiful Italian men and gorgeous buildings, we stopped for a breather in a tucked away little shop that sold fresh gelato in wafer cones. This perfume reminds me of that day. Happy, carefree, young and adventurous...

Opening spray for Misteriosa is a bright, fizzy blackcurrant cream laced with vanilla. This becomes more muted as it mingles with the patchouli and tuberose (which doesn't smell like an old lady on me, yay!), but still remains very light, creamy and dessert like with maybe just a few candies scattered on top.

This is my second Salvatore Ferragamo perfume and both ones I have tried have become instant loves! The bottle feels heavy and looks absolutely stunning along my black and gold collection that's currently in my office. I wish the cap was more gold than rose gold, but eh. It doesn't bother me that much. The bow is also absolutely charming.

I've been going a bit "blind-buy" mad recently, and this is definitely one of my favorites! It's so sweet and lovable and I feel very feminine and playful when I wear it. If you love delicious, edible and fun perfumes, this one might be for you.

I absolutely love it. 😍

LadyIva

This fragrance is so unoriginal, I marvel at the audacity of its creators to launch it as something 'new'! It is a generic fruity floral, resembling dozens of other fragrances currently flooding the mainstream market. Aside from those that other reviewers have already mentioned, I can add a few other scents to the list, especially Yves Rocher So Elixir and its flankers (almost 90% similarity to Signorina Misteriosa), The Body Shop Black Musk (85% similarity), Guerlain LPRN Intense (blue bottle, 75% similarity) and many others. It is very sweet, candy-like, fruity-milky-vanillic. If you love this type of fragrance, then Signorina Misteriosa is a safe blind buy - although perhaps too pricey, given that one can buy So Elixir or Black Musk for under 20 euros.

Veronika95

Raspberry milkshake, very juicy and creamy and tasty. The only flaw is, that people can’t really smell this from me, even if I use quite a lot. Is sits very close to the skin. Interesting is, that I can smell it and it seems strong to me, but no one else can, until they sniff very close to me. I’m really sorry about that, because the scent is awesome.

Inciel

This is amazing! Great performance and lovely notes. It smells like a candy we have here that is a sour grape licorice cilinder with yogurt inside its but its so long lasting and also pretty delicate and not toooo sweet, well i love gourmand fragances and i expected to like this one, but im really impressed!! Its perfect for a women from 16 to 30 years old. Great great scent!

swanscent

The opening smells like sour fruit candies and the fragrance itself remain quite linear throughout the wear. If I can describe this fragrance, I would say it's a milky sour berry scent. That's all.

It's nothing mysterious like its name or dark like its bottle.
The longevity is moderate, the projection is good for the first hour and then it slowly gets closer to the skin.

I would say It smells quite juvenile too. I cannot stand this fragrance so I gave my sample to my teenage sister and she likes it.

I would give this a 6/10

perfumeaddict97

This scent really does suit with the bottle. This perfume is my favourite out of the entire Signorina range (I do love the other ones too). It smells like blackberries/blueberries/blackcurrant/purple grape. As many have mentioned, the scent does also remind me of purple skittles or a grape lolly, but in a sophisticated, elegant and perfumey way. It smells really sweet with a bit of tartness - not too sweet in my opinion.
longevity is short. Projection is good with 4-5 sprays.
I would never wear this on a white or light coloured top, as it is a dark-in-colour perfume, and can stain my clothes. As a side note, I really like the way the nozzle sprays (it's quite long and disperses nicely).
I definitely recommend this perfume if you like nice blackberry, sweet and smooth scents.

Mingenya Usan

Blind bought this today since I love the original Signorina but unfortunately to me this one smells exactly the same as Elie Saab Girl of Now which made me disappointed. Too much vanilla, too strong, too sweet and cloying. I should've stayed away from anything with balsamic notes from the start :(

colabama

Perfect except WAY too much patchouli. Just can't deal with the patch

Nuzy05

It smells like a blackberry fox candy had a baby with grape skittles. Synthetic berry, very sweet with a hint of tartness, dries down to vanilla, however initially all I smell is the berries and candied orange rind jam. For someone who is into fruity and mysterious scents, I love it. Would recommend spraying from afar since it is quite strong. But surely yummy.

gmr1967

The beginning is neroli and orange. Very good. Then comes the sweet vanilla note. Very good. Until patchouli arrives (my beloved!) .... Good perfume, good persistence, classy I would say. Always perfect, for any occasion, non-invasive. During the day, in the evening, for those who follow these rules (not me!). Among the many in my collection is the perfume that I always take because it gives me security.

KennedyH

Straight from the bottle and in the opening this smells like straight up Skittles candy to me. Sweet, super fruity. When it gets on the skin, that initial Skittle smell goes away and it is a deep floral vanilla but the vanilla is fairly subtle. Does not last very long but is a good nighttime scent

gixxerbabe

I debated buying this for a year and finally purchased it after all the youtube hype convinced me. Unfortunately, it was a huge let down and didn't live up to the hype. To me, it smells quite synthetic and cheap. It goes a bit sour and chalky, reminding me of smarties or sweettart candies which I hate. The bottle is beautiful, but the juice smells nothing like the bottle suggests. Nothing mysterious here. For a much nicer blackberry vanilla, try Trish McEvoy #9.

girldeadbug

It’s alright. Doesn’t last to my nose. Seems more like an EDT than an EDP. Just a step down in sweetness with Aquolina Pink Sugar as the queen. But Pink Sugar, an actual EDT, lasts longer. I hate that you can’t see in the Misteriosa bottle, and the big clunky rectangle is hard to hold, not to mention the cap falls off and the bow is corny. It’s berries and whipped cream for sure. The thicker, creamier whipped cream, I guess that’s the mousse, and the fruits are coated in sugar. Nothing signature scent worthy but it’s easy enough to throw on at any time.

Taliaferro1201

I really enjoy this perfume. It smells Sooo good!! Like a dreamy blackberry whipped cream. Not too sweet or overpowering. It lasts 6+ hrs on skin in 100+°F California heat and weeks on clothes. Husband approved. My only complaint is that you can't see the liquid in the bottle!

crystalistheone

This was an excellent blind buy, many youtubers had good things to say about this perfume. The blackberry note is smooth and is well done is this perfume, also the sweetness is at just the right level, overall great perfume and excellent value.

Overall 8/10

Projection 6/10

Longevity 6/10

Princezz-01

This one was a blind buy for me. I had heard so many good things about it and I love it! I can definitely smell the blackcurrent on the first spray, this does calm down after a while then I get a creaminess coming through. To me this smells like parma violets. Longevity is about 4-6 hours on me before it needs a top up. Overall a good scent.

Trvevil

I picked this one up when initially wanted the first Signorina. But upon comparing all the line present at thte store, I picked up the biggest bottle of Misteriosa since it stood out and was the most intoxicating to me/

But. Even though the bottle was gorgeous the scent lacked. It was like thin musky veil with berries and a hint of sweetness. I couldn't sense it on self, although usually I can sense most of things. That was in 2017. It has 30M after opening.

So, forward in 2020 it finally became a rich scent berries and flowers and almost coffee like base. And it got very strong too. Nice.

Reydua

I blind bought this perfume expecting it to smell sexy and mysterious based on the name. Disappointed to find out that this smells like a cheap bath and body works / victoria secret perfumes! To anyone considering to buy one, skip this altogether and just bought a discounted vs perfumes cos it smells exactly like that :(
To give a background to whoever reading this review, i wear la vie est belle by lancome and joy by dior alternately everyday. So if you like perfumes similar to these two, you might find misteriosa offending.

For my fellow indonesians searching review of this perfume because of the sale on Cnf website, mending jangan karna top notesnya bau sabun cuci tangan yuri warna merah yg suka ada di resto-resto sunda :(

Science&Scents

Blackberries and vanilla whipped cream--just delicious! I picked up a little gift set of this around fall as I was dabbling in gourmands for the first time and was completely taken aback by how wonderful this was. I'm not into smelling like a cupcake but this is gives me the berry/pastry-ness that I really love (especially for breakfast). But of course, there was a sudden hype around this frag not long after and the price jumped up. Meh, may be still worth it to some but I recall when folks were practically giving these bottles away.

Regardless of the price fluctuation, this is beautiful and an ideal fall scent.

Mirjamka74

I purchased today this parfum.
I’m absolutely in love with it
Very unique and feminine

Vanillastorm40

Meh. Too light and airy for me. I need a powerhouse.

Fabulous Kevin

To my nose this smells very similar to Tresor La Nuit but lighter, kinda good!

Scentflower

I blind bought this based on some YouTube reviews and glad I did. I really don't have any blackberry perfumes and wanted one for my collection. This is a lighter fragrance despite its name. Blackberries are prominent in first spray but a creamy blackberry. Not sharp or tart, it's a sweet perfume but because its light it's not cloying or overwhelming. It lasted about 4 hrs which I feel is pretty good. Idk if uts permanent in my collection but I'll enjoy it for now.

chicagogirl

Got this through the recommendation of Rhonda Lareese, one of my favorite perfume youtubers! She raved so much about how amazing this is I had to pick up a tester. It's actually not as sweet as I expected to be (which I am glad about). It is sweet, just not as syrupy as I expected. There is an earthy quality from the patchouli that mixes perfectly with the vanilla, cream and berries. There is also a clean soapy drydown from neroli. Neroli cleans this up and keeps it grounded. It's a perfect sweet, sultry unique perfume perfect for night and day.

panda-inc

Unfortunately, this perfume stinks on my skin. The blackberry blast is strong and the neroli is sharp and the dry down is sour. Then, it stays unpleasant and nauseous on me. So, yeah, a sad no for me.

Tessa03

This is quite a strong perfume. It is the only one I own (and like) from this line. I mostly smell blackberry, whipped cream and vanilla. Received quite a few compliments while wearing. Lasts a long time and projects quite well. Smells more expensive than it is. As others have mentioned, nice bottle and the sprayer is top quality - sprays a very fine mist. A strong like from me and in my current rotation of most worn perfumes for the fall/winter.

ameskay

This just happens to be one of the most influential scents to me.

Can't take my eyes off of the bottle.
Can't forget the feel of the bottle in the palm of my hand.
Can't forget the sweetness that sits just fine on my skin, giving me the feeling of that mischievousness in the same time of feeling confidently mysterious, sexy and modern.

Still waiting for the day I could have it.
[Still in immense regret for not buying it when I had the chance.]

bianca_11106

I don't know what took me so long to try this, I guess when a fragrance gets overhyped (especially on YT) I lose my interest in it.
Anyways, a few weeks ago I gave this fragrance a chance, and I've tested it, and wow! I fell in love with it, for days I couldn't stop thinking about it so I had to have it.

It sits so beautifully on my skin, the blackberry note is so realistic, so juicy and sweet and yummy and it blends so well with the creamy milky vanilla, it's like a blackberry milkshake or smoothie or like a delicious blackberry ice cream although it's not a cold fragrance, but rather rich, warm and enveloping.

It lasts for a very long time on my skin and I can still smell it on my hair the next day, but projection isn't that great, it sits close to the skin but I don't mind, since I get to smell it on myself for a whole day.

Signorina Misteriosa is a gorgeous gourmand fragrance,  that really makes me feel good when I wear it, it's such a mood lifter scent for me, and I'm really happy to have it! 💕

auroramaria

This one and Ribelle are my favourite in the line.Misteriosa is a lovely milky sweet fruity floral and has great longevity, leaves a gorgeous trail too,I can't wait for Ferragamo to extend this line with more Signorinas since they all smell so good

Nyrahe

This was love at second sniff. Oh, how amazing, strong scent. It smells like juicy dark blackberries in vanilla dip. The sillage is great as well as longevity (on clothes is, of course much potent than on my skin).

Everytime when I go home from work, I put on some new scent. (Working in a perfume retail store). I always expect some WOW reactions from my boyfriend, who use to wait me out of the building. Most of the time he doesn't even notice anything or he'll say something like "it's fine" AFTER I ask him. But when I jumped into his car with Misteriosa on my neck, he imediatelly noticed, started sniffing me and he said "now, this one is a good scent!" Success!

And the price? 30€ for an 100ml bottle? Love it.

thehazysea

It is 1997 and I am six years old. I crush up a handful of runts and pour the dust into a bowl of melted Barbie™ chapstick. I am wearing many long, plastic necklaces and the crown from my Pretty Pretty Princess board game. I pour the mixture into an empty bottle of Bath & Body Works body splash.

I have created Signorina Misteriosa.

YesVeruca

Got this as a bargain at Marshall’s and glad it was a bargain. AMAZINGLY beautiful packaging and presentation. Black bottle with sparkles and bow with a nice gold top presented in a heavy black box with ribbon and gold sparkles. But sadly juice itself is nothing remarkable-another fruity sugar combination that maybe is more interesting than Juicy -but not by much. Moderate staying power and sillage. Doesn’t seem very dark or mysterious to me. Made in Italy.

sibaraa

The opening of this is simply divine!!! The juiciest blackberry scent ever, unfortunately it's very short lived and transforms into a sugary milky scent as if you have spilled your vanilla latte on your clothes.

Eesa

Very sweet but also tart. I actually get a strong black currant vibe from it. I find it super fun and lovely! The bottle is absolutely amazing. I feel like it could be worn by any age. Available for very good prices online now, and totally worth checking out! It was on my test list forever, so I just went ahead and blind bought it. Loving my decision <3

skyneverfall

It’s so candy! But in a good way. Not like teen smell. It almost smell like carnival grape, jelly bean candy at the beginning then quickly warm up to smell Iike blackberry yard. The blackberry and patchouli is the most noticeable scent. If you are looking for creamy blackberry, cake type of smell then this one is NOT like that. It’s a berry sweet scent with a light floral and slightly earthy from patchouli in the background. The cream and vanilla isn’t loud by itself but it smooth the sharpness of blackberry.

Valentineee

SUPER LOVE!

patresiya

I've been gifted a lot of perfume bottles over the years and never realised how much a scent could change you until I opened the Misteriosa bottle to use for my graduation. I never smelled anything similar to this and immediately decided that I want this to be my signature scent. I've been using it almost daily for about two years now and have received a lot of compliments on its sillage. I also notice that the scent doesn't really leave you (but does eventually dial down) a couple of hours (or a day even) after spritzing. The scent is darker and sweeter than those I've been using, which were mostly fresher scents since I was still in university, but still appropriate for a young woman. The scent catalyzed my newfound interest for perfumes and I've been looking for other scents that are similar in sweetness but none of these have topped Misteriosa on my list.

BlackAmberMoon

I'd classify this as a fruity chypre, not a gourmand. The berries and vanilla are tempered by the white florals and patchouli, so it feels more sophisticated and not sticky sweet. The opening is quite big but it quickly settles down to a medium sillage.

This one took a while to grow on me, but now I find myself reaching for it often. It's not really dark or mysterious, but rather like an enchanted summer forest at dusk. If you're expecting a femme fatale perfume, this isn't it, but it is sexy in a quiet way. It has a bit of the original Poison DNA, but much softer and easier to wear. I'm loving it now. Perfect for late summer/early fall.

The bottle is gorgeous and the sprayer is great. It dispenses a fine mist and feels expensive to spray.

LisaWB

I was so excited when I ordered this and couldn’t wait to try it. Unfortunately I was disappointed. There is a strong powdery scent that doesn’t seem to go away. It stops this from being fruity/ juicy which is what I was looking for. Another one for my mum.

Nimie

This was my first fragrance with tuberose and blackberry notes, and I fell in love. The blackberry is quite synthetic and loud, but as it dries down, it softens up into a creamy, bubblegummy dessert. I think it has some slight elements of mysteriousness, but the only dark thing about it is the thick blackberry. I have gotten compliments while wearing this, and I personally think this fragrance is very pretty. It's definitely one of my most frequently used perfumes, I feel good when I wear it.

rhizomaticleo

I purchased this as a blind buy about a few months ago, it is a very weather sensitive but is a stunning (a little head ache inducing) gourmand. I got the opinion of other people on it and they said it smells expensive however, also said very strong in a slap in the face kind of way. It has a distant cousin to me, Vince Camuto by Vince Camuto (the vanillas are kind of the same, perhaps due to both being Italian designers). The juice of the perfume can stain clothing, it is a little dark amber color.

It really does stick to clothing more than skin and unfortunately I found out I am allergic to this perfume so I gave it away. I never got compliments on this one as much as the crazy amount of compliments on other perfumes. Still though, anytime I was craving something sweet and whipped cream like with a heavy base (nothing too playful), then I picked this up. The bottle was gorgeous and had gold detailing, that unfortunately started to literally peel because the alcohol in the perfume started to disintegrate it which I though was weird.

susu zuzu

For me its the same as guess by marciano

Princ3sslove

Update!!
Its drydown close to Black opium but not coffee smell, its berry sweet white floral.. I had sprayyyzzdd to my jacket for night out, 3 days after its drydown still sit on my jacket with still good sillage and its transfer to any closets that hit it..
I just want more vanilla in Misteriosa, and something green touch or more daily vibes

dahlia

Quite synthetic. I haven't smelled such migraine inducing perfume for a long time. I was curious to try it, but now I don't know how fast to rub it off. To me, there is absolutely nothing interesting in this fragrance. Artificial bubblegum smell.

A few hours later the synthetic smell is gone and what is left, is an elegant, pleasant fragrance, which reminds me a bit the Mauboussin EDP. Such a pity for the bad start. But I'll give it a chance in different weather, sometimes this helps.

Sara74

This perfume leaves such a wonderful scent trail:)

Faazaharah

My number one favourite perfume. It is sweet creamy vanilla blackberry, in an elegant way. For me I just one spray on left wrist, gently touch my right wrist and using both hand touch my neck and it's already enough for the whole day. One spray for one day!

Anywho

I sampled SM today again and I really like this scent. For me, this one is in the same category as Marshmallow by D&G and Rosa Noir by MOR. With RS and SM I have the same impression that they come across more harmless than their names imply. Both are powdery with a nice fruity kick. If I wanted to be misterious and seductive on a night out, I would go for something more dangerous than these two, which are maybe more Lolita than Mata Hari. But they are very pretty nonetheless.

Angelicax1

This is heaven in a bottle. I got a rollerball of this in a swap (Thank you Kasey_Skywalker!!!) and I haven’t been able to put it down since I got it. I had heard all the rave reviews, saying it smelled like a berry dessert and I’m a big gourmand lover so I’ve wanted to try it ever since I heard about it.
Well, when I first sampled this, I was unsure how I felt about it. Mostly because I had been sampling other perfumes on my arms and it was hard to get a proper impression of this one with all of those other smells co-mingling in the air. So yesterday after I got out of the shower, I decided to wear this one alone and get the full experience of the fragrance.
When you first apply it, it’s like thick, syrupy berry compote. This blast of berry compote was almost too much in the beginning but it soon settles down and melts into my skin, allowing the other flavors to come through. The jammy berries remain the star of the show throughout the composition, but you soon get that dollop of black vanilla mousse peeking through, along with a faint whisper of florals. I get the lightest touch of tuberose and orange blossom, which lends a bit of interest to the fruit. As the perfumes settles further, I start to get wafts of patchouli coming from off in the distance, buried beneath all the yummy gourmand notes. I think you’d have to really know your patchouli to even detect its presence as it’s barely noticeable unless you go looking for it.
I know some people say this scent doesn’t deserve the black bottle or the title of “misteriosa” but I personally think it has a sexy edge that could be construed as dark and mysterious. I could see myself wearing this on a dinner date with the man, while wearing a sexy black dress. I might have to get a FB of this when my rollerball runs out. :)

SailorV

No, this is not really mysterious, but it is delicious! If you‘re looking for a sweet blackberry gourmand, look no further, this is it. In the beginning, I really get the typical tart freshness of blackberry, not just a general berry scent. It melts into the sweet, creamy vanilla nicely, like hot blackberries would melt into vanilla ice cream... Mmmh!
I don‘t really get the florals or the patchouli in this fragrance, but I do get a sparkly edge from it that lifts the fragrance from being a boring two-note foody scent. It reminds me of sparkling wine/bubbly in a way. Maybe like a blackberry wine mousse along with vanilla ice and whipped cream? Sweet and delicious.
Signorina Misteriosa is rather linear and doesn‘t have much depth, but it projects really well from my skin and doesn‘t become cloying or boring despite its simple sweetness. I don‘t feel the urge to have a bottle right now, but if I ever crave a blackberry dessert in perfume form, I know I‘ll come back to this.

Yasue

This one took me by surprise, since I seem to always prefer a woody note somewhere in the mix and tend not to like most fragrances where patchouli figures prominently as a base note. On me, this definitely evokes a mysterious vibe; it's one that draws people nearer--and if they are brave enough they will ask what I'm wearing that's so hypnotic. I don't think I've had quite so many strangers drawn to me since I wore the original formula of Lalique was new (1992) when people would follow me until they worked up the nerve to ask. My chemistry just works well with it. I even bought a backup bottle, which is rare for me, since I also tend to enjoy changing scents up often. It's not a fragrance that announces me; instead it whispers gently and seductively--and I like that.

joliecat

On my skin, Misteriosa smells exactly like a blackberry scone with sweet blackberry syrup poured over it, and a topping of rich whipped cream. It's so realistic, I could eat it ! As it dries down, the berry syrup soaks into the scone, blending with the whipped cream. As time passes, the blackberry syrup fades, but I can still smell blackberry bits in the scone for hours. VERY long lasting fragrance that wears close to skin after the first two hours. This scent lasts easily 12 hours or more.
On me, this is more of a "scone" instead of "cake" because scones are not quite as sweet as cake. Misteriosa is sweet, but not sticky candy sweet. It's a more realistic blackberry scent. The flowers and patchouli are not strong enough to distract from the edible gourmand quality of this blend. Instead, they serve mostly to anchor the scent, providing smoothness and staying power. The blackberries are sweet, not tart or sour.
I wouldn't call this a "dark" fragrance except in comparison to ultra sweet candy-like gourmands. MIsteriosa is definitely a grown up scent compared to those. Anyone can wear this, any time of year, anywhere. Misteriosa is a delicious, non offensive, non cloying tasty treat.

Princ3sslove

I've heard many people say its similar to Black Opium. In my opinion, its so different. BO is too sweet, which Misteriosa is not. I prefer Misteriosa but I hope it will have better sillage. I love it. For me its not syrupy fragrace. All balance. Fruity, sweet, vanilla, white floral. Not too fruity, not too sweet, not too floral. Girly but not childish. But I think it has a little classic flowery scent but still girly, not mature scent. It can be worn on summer day, 2 spritz wouldn't give me heavy summer cause its fruty floral

mellymel10

This is a gorgeous fragrance in a gorgeous bottle and its on clearance right now on fragrancenet in the US. I scored a 1.7 oz bottle for less than $30. So thrilled! I love this one.

Petula009

This smells like a bowl of juicy berries in a summer hot night - getting eaten by a girl in a flowy floral dress :)

Sjprest16

This was a blind buy for me, I found it on sale at winners and decided to give it a shot. Well, I am not disappointed! This is blackberry/berry syrup put on top of vanilla ice cream. It lasts around 4 hours on my skin but I’ve been catching whiffs of it for a couple of days on my jacket. It’s sweet and girly but not childish, pretty much anyone could pull this off

fyrewoman

I like how the blackberry is brightened by the neroli. This seems to be the only way I can enjoy blackberry in perfume when blackberry is complimented by some type of citrus.

I'm not getting a significant tuberose note, thankfully, because that is another note I struggle with.

I find this very enjoyable and I'm not big on gourmand fragrances. I definately sense whipped cream. I'm not finding the patchouli obvious at all in here either.

RoseGrande

this smells just like blue raspberry licorice

Riham Mansour

a second review..it's getting cooler here in egypt and i'm starting to use it again. It's very syrupy like a bluberry jam with a hint of milky creamy notes. long lasting as well and stays on colthes for days.

I decided to blind buy a mini because of all the great reviews. All the reviews warned that it was very juicy and syrupy. I haven't had much luck with juicy berry perfumes but I thought the whipped cream and milky accords would balance this out. Unfortunately, it just made it super powdery on me and I am super sensitive to powdery perfumes. I want to try this a couple times out before I decide it's a no, but I am afraid the powderyness will be too much for me.

Swedelish

There are a few brands I've subconsiously turned my nose up to over the years that until recently have been far from my radar. Ferragamo was one of them. This is my first encounter with the brand and it is fantastic! What else am I missing and has snobbery prohibited me from enjoying!? I admit, a 9 syllable fragrance name is enough for me to pass over it, but as long as noone asks what I'm wearing I'll be fine ;)

I recently received it blind as a swap and my first impression was how impressive the weight of the bottle is. The sprayer is also very nice. It reminds me of the Chanel No 19 Poudre spray in the way it lets out a long, even, soft mist rather than a blast or burst like most conventional sprayers. It lends an extra bit of class to the whole experience, which is very nice. I normally don't talk about sprayers unless they're uniquely terrible or great, which in this case is the latter. It's worth mentioning because not only does it feel nice, it evenly distrubutes the fragrance over a larger area if you wish to apply in that manner.

The scent is wonderful. I get a strong dose of patchouli, the dirty kind, beneath a fresh, tart berry and cool sweet cream in the opening. It's deep and dark but freshens up as it wears on. I pick up white florals moreso gradually as it goes into the middle phase, which is my favorite part. Orange blossom, definitely. Tuberose, a little. The drydown contains less patchouli than the opening, oddly enough. That "dirtiness" fades with time and the patchouli that's left is the friendly green kind. SM ends on a more vibrant note than it started, but holds onto its character and depth all the way. Lovely!!! Aptly named and designed as the scent matches its exterior 100%.

Longevity: 8-10 hours
Projection: Perfect. Others will smell you but not across the room.

This is like a modern interpretation of Poison by Dior (which I love but is very strong).

Opening blast is a bit medicinal, but it dries down to a beautiful berry/vanilla that somehow manages to be elegant and not too sweet. The touch of white floral is just right. Patchouli gives it a nice earthy edge. Good sillage without being in your face. Addictive.

I wouldn't say that it's "mysterious", and it's definitely not dark, but it does have a sexy edge. The bottle is gorgeous and elegant. I really love it.

It is a good feminine fragrance. The Blackberry-Vanilla agreement is superb. Very pleasant.

This could be just the berry I've been looking for.

The berry is deep and syrupy and doesn't smell like some odd candy flavor. The tuberose is more pronounced than the vanilla. This does have a doll skin musk and a blend of scents that is best described as "modern designer perfume blend." It would sit comfortably on a shelf with Alien and Black Opium although it doesn't smell specifically like either. The patchouli note is part of this blend and is never pronounced. No old hippies hiding here.

As it settles it sweetens and I begin to see the whipped cream note, which somehow manages to be not very vanilla. It reminds me more of whipped cream vodka flavor, which I do enjoy.

This is it! This is my perfect dark winter berry

Blushpinkpeonies

Really adore this! Sweet, juicy blackberries with some depth and floral notes. Not candy sweet, but a mature, well-rounded berry. I also pick up on a hint of cocoa, even though it's not listed in the notes. She is mysterious indeed. Definite winner for me. It's an enjoyable, easy-to-wear perfume. Good for office and for dates.

It is a beautiful berry scent. but i smell no cream here... it's about 36c here where i live... it's very close to Britny Spears midnight fantacy but midnight fantasy is more sweet. i'll give it another try in winter but it's a lovely fruity scent.
