Kevin Spacey has been axed from his new movie

..and is being replaced by Christopher Plummer

Only weeks before Ridley Scott’s new film, All The Money In The World was set to be released, it has been revealed that Kevin Spacey has been dropped from the Jean Paul Getty biopic in a bold move from the director and film company.

This comes after Netflix canceled [i]House of Cards[/i], the series that follows the story of a corrupt American politician in which Kevin Spacey stars.

Director Ridley Scott, along with Imperative Entertainment’s Dan Friedkin and Bradley Thomas have made the decision to remove Spacey, who has been accused of multiple accounts sexual harassment spanning from the mid-1980s to 2016. Christopher Plummer will replace the disgraced actor from the starring role of the already finished movie and reshoots are expected to commence immediately.

The film tells the story of the kidnapping of a 16-year-old boy and billionaire J. Paul Getty’s grandson. It will be reshot with the cooperation of Spacey’s former co-stars Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams.
