Metamorfosi beach Halkidiki: The beach of Metamorfosi is located 30 km south east of Poligiros, on the north western part of Sithonia. Set in an outstandingly beautiful area of olive groves and pine forests, the white sandy beach is ideal for sunbathing and swimming.

The bay is divided into a series of idyllic coves with aquamarine waters and dense pine forests. The village of Metamorfosi, about 3 km away, counts on 400 people and has developed into a modest resort over time, offering numerous hotels, rooms to let, restaurants and Greek folk art shops. Tourist accommodation options are also available on the beach. Close to the beach, there is the church of Metamorfossi and the monastery of Agios Ioannis Prodromos, and they are both worth visiting.
