Think of the edgy kid from middle school that nobody liked outside of his few equally friends.
This game is very much for fans of the the other postal games. Especially Postal 2 and its dlc Paradise lost. Along with people who might enjoy the Postal spinoff; Postal: Brain Damaged. The professional reviewers have proven they have;
1. Not fully played this game
2. Not Played previous Postal entries
3. Do not understand the Humour of the Postal series or why their reaction to Postal's trademark mix of so called 'juvenile', dark, and edgy humour is enjoyed by so many.
When Postal 2 came out in 2003, the whole goal of the game was to poke fun at everything and everyone, to annoy the puritans and pearl clutchers who wanted videogames with any semblance of violence or offense banned. At the time the people attacking videogames were religious conservatives, and later the 'progressive' bleeeding heart liberals who also decided to attack videogames for similarly dogmatic and senseless reasons. Both for the purposes of censoring things they disliked. Postal 4: No Regerts, is a reiteration of this in the modern age. It continues to poke fun at our increasingly absurd society, with irreverent, edgy, and juvenile humour that many videogame journos can't stand because it appeals to people they look down on; i.e. the average gamer. Yes this game is still in early access and is very janky, I'd reccomend trying Postal 2 first to see if you'd like the series, and go from there. If you like silly fun and simply being a postal and insane dude You WILL enjoy this game.
The plot revolves around the 'Postal Dude', as he finds a new town to call home amidst losing his trailer home and car. You have a variety of silly quests and weapons to choose from. Playing through a week of Mon.-Fri. You can kill npcs in a bunch of different absurd ways while Postal dude cracks jokes and smokes crack. If you are offended by this game you should try Postal 2, its even more insensitive to boring prudes like you. HAVE FUN AND GO POSTAL!!!!!
