My Melody is one of the sweetest girls in the neighbourhood and her family is really important to her so she loves spending time with them.
Onegai My Melody (おねがいマイメロディ Onegai mai merodi, trans. Please My Melody) is a Japanese anime series produced by Studio Comet, based on the Sanrio character My Melody. It ran on TV Osaka and TV Tokyo from April 3, 2005 to March 26, 2006, spanning up to 52 episodes.
A bit about My Melody…
My Melody is said to be best friends with Hello Kitty (a little awkward as Hello Kitty is best friends with her twin Mimmy) partly because they are both from London and My Melody is only a year younger (1975). Originally she was part of her own version of Little Red Riding Hood which is why she is always wearing a hood, but it is also a beloved item as it was made by her Grandma. My Melody has such a good-natured personality she even gets along with her rival Kuromi.
