Henry Cavill Is Expecting His First Baby with Girlfriend Natalie Viscuso

Superman is about to become a father. While walking the red carpet together on Monday, April 15, Henry Cavill broke the news that he and his girlfriend of over two years, Natalie Viscuso, are expecting their first baby. The Man of Steel actor posed with his TV exec significant other at the premiere of his latest film, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, and told a reporter he was looking forward to his next chapter.

“I’m very excited about it,” he said during a red-carpet interview with Access Hollywood. "Natalie and I are both very excited. I’m sure you’ll see much more of that.”

Cavill also told the publication that he was turning to his own upbringing for inspiration on parenting. He pushed back on the reporter’s suggestion that his The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare co-star Henry Goulding had inspired him to become a dad, laughing when he responded, “He didn’t inspire me to do that, my parents did.”

The Justice League actor and Viscuso, who is the vice president at Vertigo Entertainment, have been linked together since they hard launched their relationship on Instagram. In an April 2021 post, they both shared on their respective accounts, the couple can be seen facing off against each other in a game of chess — which reportedly went badly for the Argyle actor.

"This is me looking quietly confident shortly before my beautiful and brilliant love, Natalie, destroys me at chess," Cavill captioned the photo. Meanwhile, Viscuso quipped she was "teaching my dear Henry how to play some chess...or...maybe he let me win?"

The couple is currently working on a Warhammer 40 adaptation together, but they’ve yet to share a release date for the sci-fi project.
