Iconic singer Pete Burns sparked shock among his fans this week when he stepped out looking completely unrecognisable with bloated features and dark make-up.
But he's not alone when it comes to a dramatic transformation over the years - and we can always rely on pop stars to experiment with their appearance.
The singer, who is best known for his song You Spin Me ‘Round, was seen looking mismatched on a shopping trip with a pal.
Unfortunately, the 56-year-old suffered a make-up disaster, with foundation that was a couple of shades too pale for his skin tone which he paired with a dark mauve lipstick. This gave him an unfortunate Morticia- look that wasn’t flattering.
The star, who once won £450,000 in damages after a botched surgery, previously told Reveal magazine: “I also have regular peels and Botox. It's something I'll always do.
"People redecorate their homes every few years and I see this as no different. Changing my face is like buying a new sofa.”
