He has shared the stage with the likes of Chelsea Handler, Aziz Ansari, Hasan Minhaj, and Bob the Drag Queen. Matteo can be seen in Netflix’s queer stand-up special Stand Out: An LGBTQ+ Celebration as well as The Comedy Lineup.  A skilled artist and pasta aficionado, Matteo has also painted a mural for the Obamas’ headquarters in Chicago and trained as an opera singer in Rome.

The New York Arab-American Comedy Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary by taking the show on the road with six headliners: Dean Obeidallah, Maysoon Zayid, Mohanad Elshieky, Laura Laham, Majdy Fares, Rola ZZZ, and Go Remy. The Festival was created 20 years ago to dispel negative stereotypes and create a platform for Arab American comedy.

This event also celebrates the launch of new books by Perlman and Waite.
