I tried multiple times to fully invest myself into this game and complete it. Visuals and music are spectactular. Based on the parts that I have experienced, I would say it is one of the best platformers for the Amiga. But in the end, I never completed it. Flink doesn't control all that well and there are very frustrating parts.

What a beautiful and atmospheric game! However, i found the Genesis version a bit more playable and polished

This is a top-notch platformer. In fact, this might be the best platform game on the Amiga. The graphics are top-notch, the animation is great, and the gameplay is fun!

This game is a good-quality platformer, although Flink himself can be very sluggish, and has some slightly weird momentum to him at times, which takes some getting used to at first.

If you like this one, then you may be interested in the PlayStation game, Lomax (or, "The Adventures of Lomax", in North America), which is a platform game in the Lemmings series, and this game's spiritual-sequel. It irons out all of the niggles in The Misadventures of Flink, and is much more refined - though, naturally, since it stars a lemming knight and not a trainee wizard, the magic spells are gone.

>However it does not exploits the AGA chip somehow,if it doesn't works in a A500 would be just for no enough memory.I'm sure because the Megadrive version is exactly the same like this,so 64 colors on screen at most.

I assume that you're comparing the Genesis version's "64 colors on screen" to AGA's 256. That's a very misleading number, as it assumes a single parallax layer. AGA graphics are planar, so you lose color when you divide the bitplanes between layers, as in this game. This game actually 48 colors, which, with only eight bitplanes, is just about the maximum that the AGA architecture can display at this level of parallax. It was a really underpowered setup, even for its time, and not nearly enough of an improvement over the original Amiga.

A great platformer as good as the best Megadrive and Snes ones. It's very entertaining and very long game. However it does not exploits the AGA chip somehow,if it doesn't works in a A500 would be just for no enough memory.I'm sure because the Megadrive version is exactly the same like this,so 64 colors on screen at most.Besides the screen size is small to avoid slowdowns and Amiga version doesn't include the beautiful SegaCD intro!!!Why???better play the SegaCD version.

Yep, I believe I played this one emulated on another platform...or I played a CD32 demo. Maybe both! I do remember loving it and meaning to buy it. I may actually own it on CD32 for all I know! Haha! I'm too lazy to cheap my old stack of games.

Won't rate.

I haven't played the CD32 version of this game, but it looks like a direct port of the 1994 Sega CD version, which I've played. It's one of the best games on that platform, and it's stunningly beautiful and well-designed in its own right.

Awesome graphics and animations to deserves a nice but very classic platformer. The main character is also a bit slow, but the playability is very good.

The SEGA Genesis version have terrible musics but someone explain me why it have more effects (more parallax, animated clouds, etc) than the AGA version? Shame on Psygnosis for that.

Beautiful graphics, but a little repetitive. And there are a lot of simply annoying passages, where you ALWAYS loose all your hardly earned magic

There are three games that make the CD32 worthwhile; Liberation: Captive II, Benefactor, and Flink. Flink is an awesome platformer game which puts me in mind of a more "gritty" (in terms of colour) Rayman. IMHo, this game is superior to Rayman and just as difficult to complete!
