MARCALLO CON CASONE - ITALY

Macroom has been twinned with Marcallo con Casone since 2002. Marcallo con Casone is siutated in the Ticino Valley, only 25 km from Milan. It may be accessed by air from Malpensa and Bergamo and by rail to Magenta Station. Marcallo con Casone is an agricultural area, producing wine, cereals and dairy products. It is within easy reach of Milano (San Siro soccer stadium), Venice, Verona, Lakes Como and Maggiore. The Alps are visible in the distance.
