Patient Reviews
Apr 20, 2024
My doctor referred me to Greater Washington Dermatology to get my first skin check. When I entered the office I was a little concerned their focus may lean more towards cosmetic issues rather than checking for skin cancer, which was my reason for being there. The waiting room has a cabinet displaying skin care products, and there are more behind the front desk. However, at no point did anyone try to sell me anything, no lotions, no potions, no pressure! That was a big relief. The other big relief was the gentle and very relaxed manner of Lauren Pollicino, who made me feel comfortable in my own skin, no small feat. There was a large, clean, cloth robe to cover up with, but at one point or another, pretty much everything was exposed, laid bare. This is way out of my comfort zone, and yet the compassionate professionalism and respectfulness of Lauren Pollicino made the experience a positive one with minimal awkwardness, thankfully. I am very appreciative of Lauren Pollicino.
