The E6 is a relatively new retro gaming handheld built with the task of emulating up to Sony PlayStation Portable games. Available for under $50, the E6 gaming handheld resembles the Valve Steam Deck, albeit on a much smaller scale.

The E6 is another budget gaming handheld aimed at emulating various games released up to the late 90s and early 00s. Specifically, the device does so with a Rockchip RK3326 chipset, a 5,000 mAh battery and up to 2 GB of RAM, the former of which integrates four ARM Cortex-A35 CPU cores with a Mali-G31 GPU. As ETA Prime's video below shows, the E6 is powerful enough to emulate up to Sony PlayStation Portable games across its 5-inch and 480p IPS display, although PS1 games often run more smoothly.

For reference, the E6 features a mini HDMI port, as well as MicroSD card slot and USB Type-C connections. Additionally, its manufacturer has included two hall effect analog sticks that sit above its d-pad and ABXY buttons. Likewise, the bottom edges of the device's housing fall away sharply, presumably to improve ergonomics. As a result, the E6 looks like a sort of mini Steam Deck, although it lacks the twin trackpad set-up that helps distinguish Valve's gaming handheld from its competitors.

Currently, the E6 is available through AliExpress in black, green and white colour options. At the time of publication, the gaming handheld starts at $44 with a 32 GB MicroSD card. However, the E6 is also sold with 64 GB and 128 GB MicroSD cards for $46 and $52, respectively. Moreover, AliExpress offers the gaming handheld in the same memory configurations but with a pair of wireless controllers.
