I was inspired by the orient, Japan and the ever elegant Geisha in particular. The kimono, the traditional outfit of japan meets street style infused with my personal style-color, creativity and different fabrics not traditionaly found in standard clothing to create an eccentric, particular look. I utilized real kimonos in my design to bring an authenticity to the project. Some of my fabrics were hand dyed. Accessories made from home furnishings as well as wooden fans. I used poor fabrics and layering to create the final look.
