Jesse Jane who made a name for herself in the adult film industry in the 2000s, has passed away alongside her boyfriend Brett Hasenmueller.
Jesse, who was 43 at the time of her passing, and her boyfriend were discovered dead at her home in Moore, Oklahoma, according to TMZ.
The outlet has reported that the pair were discovered by law enforcement after Brett's employer told police he had not heard from him in a few days.
An investigation is currently underway into the exact cause of death, but sources have told the publication that they believe it to be drug-related.
Jesse shot to fame in the early 2000s when she starred in a number of adult films, including the adult parody of the Pirates of the Caribbean films, one of which is reportedly the most expensive porn film ever produced.
Following this she began working for Playboy, where she hosted the extremely popular live show Night Calls.
After making a name for herself in the adult film industry, Jesse hosted several industry award shows, and launched a successful sex toy line.
Outside of these roles, she appeared in a number of mainstream TV shows and films, including Starsky & Hutch, Entourage, and Middle Men.
She also made appearances in a number of reality TV shows, Dr. 90210, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, and Bad Girls Club.
Since the news of her tragic passing, those who knew Jesse have taking to social media to pay tribute to her, with Pirates director Joone leading the way.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, he wrote: "I am heartbroken by the loss of my friend, Jesse Jane, who was a remarkable person and a phenomenal artist.
"She touched so many lives with her grace and beauty, her infectious laugh and a smile that lit up the world. I’m honored to have known her and to have been her friend."
While another social media user wrote: "We are truly heartbroken to hear about the loss of Jesse Jane. We are sending our love to Jesse's closest friends and family during this time. She will be greatly missed. R I P Jesse jane #jessejane"
