Ty, the anthropomorphic Australian tiger and boomerang expert, will make a new appearance on Windows devices soon, according to a newly released trailer for Ty the Tasmanian Tiger.

Developer Krome Studios says the new Ty the Tasmanian Tiger will come to Xbox Games for Windows 8 PC and tablet, packing in 30 levels of 2D platforming action. A new didgeridoo-filled trailer shows what Ty looks like in high-definition, his first platforming adventure since 2005's Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3: Night of the Quinkan.

Krome released a Ty spin-off, Boomerang Blast, for iOS in 2012.

No release date was provided for the Windows release of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, with the developer only specifiying that the game is "coming soon."
