Far Cry 3 'fan requested features' patch available now

Far Cry 3's "fan requested features" patch, announced in February, was released today for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC, Ubisoft announced.

The patch is part of Ubisoft's "on-going effort to respond to players" by adding improvements, new challenges and more. In Far Cry 3's single-player campaign, the patch includes an option for outpost resets, a new "Master" difficulty setting and new HUD settings. Multiplayer updates cover a map test, which allows players to publish a new map in beta mode, idle kick for away players and more time to cast a skip vote.

Far Cry 3 launched on Dec. 4, 2012. During an earnings call in February, Ubisoft CEO promised that fans would not have to wait four years for another entry in the series.
