It looks like that the official Marvel Games Twitter account is teasing something to do with the Fantastic Four coming to Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4 in some shape or form.
Fantastic Four DLC Likely Coming To Marvel’s Spider-Man
The tweet, which you can see below teases something ‘fantastic’ coming to Marvel’s Spider-Man but offers little else.
As to what this new Fantastic Four DLC could be – there are a number of possibilities. We could be looking at Fantastic Four themed Spidey-suits (which wouldn’t be that great), or, we could be looking all-new story-based DLC that includes the Fantastic Four.
Of the two, the latter seems more likely; especially given how quiet Insomniac has been on new story DLC and also how the Fantastic Four and Spider-Man are frequent acquaintances in the comics.
The most recent batch of DLC for Marvel’s Spider-Man was the City Never Sleeps story expansion which pitted Spider-Man against Hammerhead and the Maggia crime family. Split into three episodes, the City Never Sleeps DLC also re-introduced Black Cat, Silver Sable and Captain Watanabe into the story at various points too.
