Raponzolo di roccia [Physoplexis comosa], Piccolo Lagazuoi

This flower is one of the finest and showy ornaments of vertical cliffs. The decorative and unmistakable inflorescences are made up of flowers of violet color, sharply narrowing upwards. It only inhabits the wet fissures of the limestone rock faces on which it blooms between July and August.
