Bella Hadid's time in the supermodel spotlight has been accompanied by constant honesty. In the past, Bella hasn't been shy in sharing the struggles she's encountered in the industry, especially as she continues to navigate life with Lyme Disease. Now, she's opening up even more.

Appearing on the April 2022 cover of Vogue, Bella revealed more of the emotional toll that's accompanied her through her modeling career, also addressing the constant speculation regarding possible plastic surgery. “People think I fully f*cked with my face because of one picture of me as a teenager looking puffy," the model said. "I’m pretty sure you don’t look the same now as you did at 13, right? I have never used filler. Let’s just put an end to that. I have no issue with it, but it’s not for me.”

Bella has had to address rumors surrounding plastic surgery numerous times in the past. In 2018, she denied that she would ever get lip fillers, and earlier that year, she was subjected to hateful comments from an Instagram troll regarding her appearance. In the new interview, the supermodel confirmed that she did have a nose job at the age of 14, but admitted that she wishes she hadn't. “I wish I had kept the nose of my ancestors. I think I would have grown into it,' she told Vogue

During her interview with Vogue, Bella also shared that she experiences feelings of imposter syndrome, saying, “People made me feel like I didn’t deserve any of this. People always have something to say, but what I have to say is, I’ve always been misunderstood in my industry and by the people around me."

Revealing that she continues to struggle with feelings of anxiety and depression, Bella again referenced her self-care practices and shared how she intends to care for herself in the year ahead. “Everything that I do in my personal life is literally to make sure that my mental state stays above water. Fashion can make you or break you. And if it makes you, you have to make a conscious effort every day for it not to break you."
