I like how much more affordable this formula is compared to the Similac equivalent we were using. Baby did not have issues with transitioning from Similac to Parents Choice. We have been using the PC for a few weeks now and I decided to order the 4pack online to be delivered to my home and that was the best decision Ive made! Delivery took about a week but if I plan out our schedule and budget correctly, it will save us money and be more convenient to continue to order this way.

Glad I switched to Parents Choice!

I am so glad they finally make a generic for the Similac Total Comfort! My baby had no issues "switching" from name brand and the price point is one million times better. The product dissolves the same, doesn't clump, smells better and does the job with no issues.

Love It

This formula works just like the name brand. My little one has a sensitivity to lactose. Since starting this, she is gaining weight and not having diarrhea and getting awful diaper rashes anymore. Now, if only it were sold in more stores! I have to have it shipped. It is not sold in my state as far as I know.

Ive been using Similac Pro Total Comfort since my son was 4 months old. Then i stumbled across Parents Choice and saw That it was the same exact ingredients for $17 cheaper. that it was the same exact ingredients for $17 cheaper. I can buy two cans of Parents choice for the price of one Similac. parents choice for the price of one Similac. I find that the parents choice mixes a little better than the name brand as well. The only negative thing I can say is that my local Walmart doesntThe only negative thing I can say is that my local Walmart doesnt carry this particular type at the store, so I have to order it online.

A great money saving alternative

Great formula my daughter jumped through every formula hoop we could hit, we finally decided to just grab a cheap can of formula to hold her over just in case she didn't take to the new formula well. Well come to find out it's the only formula she can tolerate on her stomach and we haven't paid 70 plus dollars on ONE can

So glad we found this formula! My little one has been on the name brand Similac version before switching to this. I read the reviews and noticed constipation was a common complaint with this formula but also that it worked great for some babies. I took a shot in the dark and bought the 4 container bundle deal, and figured if it didn't agree with my little one, I would just return them and get the name brand. My son has had no issues with the new formula although I did slowly transition him by mixing the old with the new. I gradually started him off with the majority Similac and a little of the new, all the way until it was all the generic brand. We did this over a time span of 2 weeks. I think this has helped a lot with the transition and am glad he has tolerated it well!

Great alternative to name brand!!

This was the first formula my baby was introduced too in the Similac brand. Tried switching him to different ones because my store didn't carry the Parents Choice brand of this, and I wanted to save money. Found it online for half the price of Similac, and have been using it ever since. $70 for two canisters of Similac or $70 for FOUR canisters of Parent's Choice.

Half the price of Similac

I wanted to love this product due to the fact that it is both low lactose 98% less and it's partially broken down for easier digestion. I was hoping it'd be the formula that was in between Similac's Sensitive (lactose free) and Similac's Alimentum's (broken down) formulas and I'd get the benefits of both with this formula. By all the research I've done, it technically is. Unfortunately it constipated my little one. I now know that my little one can't digest Similac's formulas (brand or generic) very well. They seem to be thicker than Enfamil's formulas. We ended up using Enfamil's versions Gentlease (Gentle: generic brand) which is 20% less lactose and partially broken down as well. Even though it contains more lactose, the formula itself is thinner in consistency and that alone seems to have made a difference in digestion for my little one. With the exception of the constipation for my child specifically, if your child has no problem digesting Similac's formulas, but you're noticing constipated with Similac's Sensitive (which is lactose free but not broken down), this is a great formula to try. You'll get the low lactose closer to Sensitive, but it's broken down similar to Alimentum without the heftier price tag. It's a great 1st step before switching to Alimentum (hypoallergenic formulas).  It was worth a try and I'd consider it again for future baby's needs. Thanks.

Worth A Try!

Despite the ingredients being nearly identical to the name brand, this one caused genuine constipation in my baby that we ended up needing a doctor's appointment and medical treatment for. I'm sure for some babies this will be fine, but my child has a very sensitive stomach.

This formula did dissolve well and the price is amazing. I like the fact it's one of the only generic formulas without palm olein as an ingredient. I wish it writhe have worked for my baby.

Four stars because of those positives and because of the satisfaction, money back guarantee.

Okay for some

This is the only stuff my little guy will drink, however, this formula clumps together and will leave large pieces in his bottles. No matter how much i shake the bottle it doesn't mix. It will also clog the nipple of his bottle making him mad.

Not the best or the worst

This formula is very clumpy and causes major constipation. We've tried mixing every way possible and it immediately clumps when it hits the water.
