This
winter, all roads lead to Tanjong Pagar Distripark. The Singapore Art Museum expands
on its premises to include open spaces for multidisciplinary art showcases. These
will be stretched across a multi-leveled expansive enclosure located in the lesser-known
Singapore port area.
The new space is poised to become a welcoming hub for artists and audiences of all propensities. From family-friendly exhibitions to multisensorial experimental installations, the SAM Distripark aims to bring people closer through appreciating the intricacies of contemporary art. Alongside art exhibitions, the space will host numerous public programs and even sport a coffee bookshop.
Tangjong Pagar SAM opens its gates on January 14th, with its first residents being Salty Xi Jie Ng, Johann Yamin, and Chu Hao Pei.
