Famed Italian horror director Dario Argento (Phenomena, The Bird with the Crystal Plumage) has joined the voiceover cast of Electronic Arts' Dead Space, though only in the Italian version.
Argento will voice Doctor Kyne in a game that he says "truly captures the essence of fear in an entertainment medium. Not only is it the most terrifying game I’ve ever played, but it’s also one that all fans of horror will appreciate."
Hopefully EA will have the foresight to include the Italian voiceover tracks with the American release. Argento has generated legions of rabid horror fans on both sides of The Pond, and his inclusion in the game lends the proceedings a certain geeky importance.
